if you want a tour guide, try to find a Malaysian student there or inform the Malaysian Embassy there, for safety and any troubles that might come~

well, I never been to Japan...but try to inform the Embassy when you guys arrive there...make it a social visit~

If anything happen, at least the Embassy can help...

Have a safe trip when you do...always keep you passports handy and if you may, go to Malaysian consulate or ambassador and report yourselves there (might something happened you'll be saved by the consulate).

and don't forget to bring plug converter, because Japan use smaller voltage than Malaysia (Japan use 100 volt though). So bring your extra 100 volt type-A plug cable for your laptops~
