I dont mind if people want to condemn forte as long as he/she has facts to support his/her statements. then just let people decide what is the best.
however the most annoying thing is, they condemn blindly and no standing facts at all...moreover their arguments are so infinitely stupid...
If you do ever go to this link and go through all the comments..you will see what I mean...you will recognise the guy.. yawn.gif

for me, forum is still the best place for sharing info and knowledge...

Searched Castrol website, all their top range or Fully Synthetic oil are 40.
My wild guess is viscosity 30 may not suitable for Malaysia hot Climate. In Korea maybe yes bcos of thier cold climate.
So, 40 should be suitable for use.

http://www.castrol.com/castrol/multiplepro...ntentId=6008246

My conclusion is higher viscosity = better protection to car engine = (-)more fuel consumption =(-)engine feel heavier
lower viscosity = better performance = less fuel consumption= (-)increase engine wear and tear rate
