On 1st Batch, the cars are delivery with the Registration Card stating "Kereta Baru Import" and there is a photocopy of the AP cert. Where by rumors say the current batch is different.. Maybe will be "Pemasangan Tempatan" on the registration cert.

CBU or CKD.. most is minor assembly for now.. as most already stated.. the cars are still shipped in as a whole and only some things to do at Gurun to make them qualified as local assembly..

Ya i agree with you bro.
I dun understand ppl keep arguing about CBU and CKD.
I personally supply equipments to the factory especially in automotive.
Gurun plant also my customer.
I went in and see their production, basically all already pre-install when import.
All they do here is some minor assembly.
And one thing i like here is their QC dept. really do their works.
They buy a lot of equipments for checking and tight QC before ship out.
So i think CBU or not doesnt really matters now.

After 1 solid hour of DIYing ... finally got the two level armrest installed icon_idea.gif

Attached Image

The leather or feel on the two level armrest is slightly harder (thinking of wrapping it with additional layer of leather to make it softer) than the stock one and it is slightly higher (around 1cm), which is just nice for me as I feel that the stock armrest is slightly lower. If you have lots of small things to keep in the car, this is a very good solution as the top compartment is quite big and the bottom compartment can still fit a CD height with some room to spare smile.gif

If you are interested, please PM me for the contact of the Singapore seller. If you are wondering how hard is it to DIY, well a lot harder than changing emblems cos a lot of screws to remove and screw back and many are in tight areas and you have to screw some upside down ... but its really worth it if you are used to putting keys and etc in the top compartment of your previous car biggrin.gif

The feedback is very subjective becoz some buyer use in different location and weather issue will coz delay for signal.
Besides, it also depend price too.

For me, it is come with latest CPU + OS and this device let me access WinCE 6 where majority GPS device locked this features. Secondly, the seller after sales service is good coz keep provide me info and free maps source.
I had updated the ROM and new OS version for test the signal performance.

About hardware, this GPS device only can use around 1 hour+ also depend the backlight and sound level setting.
If use inside car, sure no problem! But this device leave out bluetooth feature where I target for it. Seller said that bluetooth integration make the device not stable.

My current GPS customized with new LOGO during boot up!

I doubt he will tell the truth. Asked before, he only say will get before CNY. And Naza careline can't tell me my queue either. That's why I'm hoping to get a poll count here.

Maybe hyundai elantra will be ur alternative option..
although less features compared to forte..
it looks quite ok..

and the price only 80k OTR for 2000 cc..current promotion price..
Just my opinion... XD
