if a better option comes along, i will cancel.........otherwise i can wait..........

just that it gets rather irritating waiting with no clear explanation from naza........i have waited for cars before, but it's with a clear timeframe, and reason (demand more than production)........
*
definitely agreed..if got better option with clear delivery timeframe, i will opt for that one rather than waiting for Forte blindly icon_question.gif

Now the numbers are in the WTL range... waiting for WTM...
*
I've tendered 3 digits WTM number. Results will be announced 2moro (Monday). Hopefully i won my tendered number. nod.gif . According to JPJ website, current running number = WTL 8761. So WTM running number should arrive at late Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning smile.gif

But sadly, no sign of my 2.0 Forte yet..sighh sweat.gif

One more question to ask beforeĀ  i make my decision
Is forte a reliable and long lasting car (>7yrs normal usage)?
*
Forte's age only about 1 & a half year since it was launched in Korea. Reliable & long lasting car? i guess no one knows the answer just yet..time will tell. u should have faith on it smile.gif

Bro, I think you better forget about changing booking .. after you have waited for so long, it can be any time soon the car will be available. Unless you are like me.. canceled earlier and now I am already driving the other car  brows.gif  ... no regrets so far beside a big big hole in my bank account in compares to getting the 2.0SX.

So, I suggesting you just wait...... until careline starting to say 6 months again tongue.gif . Having said that.. after reading so many updates recently. The delivery sounded to be very soon.
*
Yupp..actually i have to agree with your words of advise. I feared the most when i canceled the booking, & the next day or week the car is ready to be delivered icon_question.gif but the scenario of waiting blindly that makes me crazy mega_shok.gif

Thanks jimmy.soo for sharing the info

Hi izputra, what are the required documents to bring a long in order to tender a number? IC and car booking receipt enough?
*
U have to bring your IC (for photocopy) only as they dont need the car booking receipt. First u have to buy & fill the tender form + at least 50% downpayment (or should i say advance) from your tendered value (need to buy wang pos), pay RM10 bayaran perkhidmatan at the counter & photocopy your IC. Put all the items (tender form, wang pos[make sure u tear off your part], RM10 payment receipt & photocopy of your IC) in the envelope that are provided when u buy the tender form (write your name & address on the envelope + your tender number at the left top corner). Seal the envelope & drop it into the tender box (make sure the tender is still open..hehe). smile.gif

what happen if we loose? full refund?

WTM tender still open?
normally people will buy WTM 6x9 or WTM 9x6
coz W = M terbalik and 6 = 9 terbalik
*
Yupp..full refund. Use your tear off section of your wang pos to claim it back.

Tender results for WTM numbers already published..so of courselah tender already closed laugh.gif . In fact it is closed on 12 January 2010. Now maybe open for WTN or WTP.

Izputra, if that is the case, how are we going to know whether we won the tender or not if we drop those documents into the tender box? Do we have to wait there till result come out or we just go back and wait for the result? If possible, i wish to go there only once and not returning there as doing so will have to take leave again...  tongue.gif
*
First have to wait until the result come out. 2 ways to know whether u win the tender or not :

1) Tender results will be displayed at JPJ's notice board,
2) JPJ will send to u the tender results using the same envelop that u throw in into the tender box (remember what i've said in previous post that u have to write your name & address on the envelope).

called up careline, so far nothing special.... the 3 months waiting period is from the date u get the dunno so called SOV form ar
basically booking is rubbish, absolutely rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!
*
I have to agree that Naza's booking system is totally rubbish. They should honour earlier bookers in which some of them booked the car without seeing at it first (including me)..just merely trust & faith. How come i've placed my booking on 25 Nov 2009 got queue number 39 compared to other person who booked on 9 Dec 2009 got queue number 27?..it is very unfair & unacceptable. Naza's management dont have to be a rocket scientist to solve this issue. simple..book earlier, queue number at the front..book later, queue number listed behind the earlier bookers.

& the 3 months waiting period should count like these :

1) For those who booked the car before the launching date, count down should start from the launching date,
2) For those who booked the car after the launching date, count down should start from the booking date.

Fair enough right?

But very2 sadly, they (Nazakia) count it down from the date of so called LOU, SOV, loan approval or whatever terms that they use. Now the question is..what's the point of placing the booking then???...to steal customers' money by purposely delay the car delivery so that they will cancel the booking..is it?

Understand your frustration. 27 & 39 doesn't seems to make much difference if you observed how Naza do their job.
As what been told, total only about 60 over booking for 2.0 nationwide. If they really do their job, it could be delivered within the same period right?
Maybe within the same week.

Added on January 25, 2010, 8:22 pm
on behalf will not be entertained bro..must write personally..haha
*
Ya..agree with u. hopefully they will deliver the car within the same period so that i will satisfy with that. & hopefully they have enough 2.0s. If not enough, 27 & 39 means a lot u know. i.e. i booked spicy red 2.0 Forte & let say Naza only have 10 spicy red 2.0 Forte in their stock..& let say the first 38 bookings already included all the 10 spicy red 2.0 Forte..so i will miss it & have to settle for other choices of colour & it is unfair to me right? because maybe i can get spicy red one if my queue number is 27. For some reason, the queue number is significantly important right? because it simply means priority.

60+ booking for 2.0 are only for Naza branches, not including booking at their dealers. But personally i think that their current booking practise have to change in order to be fair to their customers.

On behalf mehh..hmm..i think better write it personallylah smile.gif hehe
