I have this news from my friend (forte buyer) too, his SA told him worst case he will need to be at JPJ on Friday morning to speed up the registration process.

Yes the owner can register the car faster vs SA / Runners. There is a special counter for Owners to do registrations and they will need your IC to verify it.

My wife helps me to get my car registered previously when SA said needed to wait for another 2 days.. I love my wife so much that actually went to JPJ and helps me to register as she knew I wanted the car sooner for the long weekend.

I just went to the Naza Branch. They said yes 2.0 is in Rawang but the bad news is that the excise duty not paid yet. She says cannot get before CNY. They have 1.6 but also no guarantee can be done before CNY.

My SA already ask me to do this last Monday, but until now also the same.
Anyway don't put high hope, the higher the hope the higher you FALL..

Actually my one no SA as already resign. Only left the BM and admin clerk. I think the clerk might not be too keen to push for the car as I think it is just too much work for her. But what she says is that it can be done for the 1.6 but she don't dare to guarantee that after making the payment you can get the car before New Year.

No, 1.6. SA said JPJ will put walk in customer as higher priority than runner. So personally go there do the registration will be better & faster

Sure, she call few times, ask me whether want to take it or not. If yes, then she'll proceed with all the process with the finance dept.

But I still didn't put 100% hope since I've not see the car yet.
