I can confirm the 1 in the middle (in Pic) is a piezo tweeter, you try un-screw the back and see' you will find the same round piece of flat metal attached to a tiny paper cone without any magnets.
The plastic thing is just the housing.
It can go very loud and sharp, and it's not fake.
I used to play with these piezo tweeters when i was young because they are cheap and allmost impossible to burn.

LOL im actually using one this egg speaker.. bought it for rm26 at lowyat.. nvr look down on tis egg i muz say! its amazingly loud!!! there's once im using it in a very very large hall n i dare say half of the hall can hear tis egg's sound...

come on, do not hesitate to take. there are some internal pic of E3100 in the net but none shows the details of the items inside.

I realize the 'hampeh' sound of SC when playing it directly on it's amp. Lucky I'm using it now with DD processor so the 'hampeh' sound was covered by the DD processor. But even now feels the SW wanna pecah already..

i have to agree with all of you here with all the new SG models... None of them sounds good at all, especially the Evo series!! Either they have too much treble or bass are too hard.. EXCEPT for the Bluethunder Series which you mentioned above.. I was shopping for new pc speaker 3 years ago and the Bluethunder series caught my attention with it's low price and professional look. I purchased a Bluethunder I for RM140 as it was the best of all among it's price range.. It has a very clean mids and highs, bass is ok except when it goes really low... This system is comparable to the famous Altec Lansing v4121 and believe me, the bluethuner I have better mids and highs than the vs4121!!!! After reading this forum, i was wondering if my Bluethunder I's tweeters were fake, and so i open it up... Thank god they are not!! haha.. They do produce trebles but at a very high frequency while the midrange driver handles all the mids and highs, so the tweeters work like supertweeters which sounds very crisp to make the sound more crystal clear... But one thing i found when i open the satellite speakers up, THEY LOOK CHEAP OMG!!! But who cares? as long as they sound good and cannot be seen from outside... Just have a look of my system with the link below;

Apart from the built quality of this model, I'm glad that this model is quipped with REAL tweeters instead of fake ones... The tweeter produces really high frequency of treble.. When you're listening to lossless music, you can really hear the details of the singer's voice as well as the string of a guitar which is really amazing.. Not too sharp and just nice...

juz found out...my EVO5 do nt even has a workable(unlike evo3) tweeter!!! it juz a piece of plastic..you cheap SONIC GEAR
