Whats wrong with the new models of AL speakers mate? Any problems?

cheap parts inside that produce cheap sound
they used to use good quality parts
now all china cheapos in good looking speakers

not sure if all sonic gear products are like this but I can say some of them like blue thunder series kinda good

Edifier I can say currently the best in Malaysia because of the product quality and sound quality
also we got Mr. Edifier and his crew to protect us if any products get sick or die tak pasal-pasal

during their early years they have managed to place their product and names as one of the respectable player ..

Pass by Pasar road today and went to 1 of the electronic shop to bought 1 RM5 tweeter for comparison
Test it in very quiet enviroment, otherwise i i can't hear the sound from SG tweeter at all. using M1310 amp to boost it at higher volume.

hmm. the RM5 tweeter have a plastic case.
try removing it so that it is fair to compare with the sonic gear tweeter that doesn't have a plastic case

EDIT: is the RM5 tweeter a piezoelectric tweeter?
if not don't remove it lol
you'll destroy it

dear all, just manage to take a video to compare the quality of Sonic Gear Evo3 with Edifier M1335 mid range driver. I found some funny sound when i press on the Sonic Gear's mid range driver and this doesn't not happen on Edifier mid Range driver, can someone tell me why the Sonic Gear Driver got the sound when i press it?

That RM5 tweeter from Jalan Pasar doesn't look like a piezo based to me.
Piezo ones that I used to buy have horn like enclosure to radiate the 'noises' , and they're 3 bucks each! LOL!
