If you guys managed to catch San Jose's games for Ath. Bilbao, you see that he's pretty good for a 20 year-old defender. Watched the match - in full HD glory on Astro B.yond, where he defended well and help them secure a 1-0 win againt Real.

He still needs to bulk up and build up his strenght, like most of the reserve team youngsters - they're all rather thin and lack much physical presence.

Er... as far as i know, Sammy is assistant manager while Pako was assistant manager + fitness guru. To blame Sammy for the spate of injury is blasphemous!

Another show of daft and uninspired football from a team who can't seem to be able to pass the ball forward. No pace, no drive and no creativity. Lucas should have been subbed out for Aquilani. We needed his quick touch and running from the midfield. Gerrard was clearly struggling and his touches are poor. Only silver lining was the defence held their line. 2 points dropped and now Spurs are 3 points in front. Rafa must be happy with another point in the bag!

WTF? Benayoun reportedly agree to personal term for a move to Spartak Moscow according to Daily Mail. Supposedly in a deal worth £7million and bout £40,000 a week for 3 years.
If this is true, things certain ain't looking rosy at the dressing room. This post has been edited by JonC: Jan 27 2010, 08:52 PM |

What ever micro grams of respect i have for Neverton is gone to the dumpster after the shit i see last night. That mop head should be charge by the disciplinary board for kicking Kuyt's head and that stamp on Krygiakos. The sending of "Sparta" was badly handled, if a red was warranted, both should have been off. Dun even get me started on that prick named "Pee"nar - he stinks.

Look at the build-up before the match, already knew it will be a long night and goals will be a precious commodity. Honestly, i didn't see how we were going to win it and was expecting a draw. Carra's substitution, did us in as the overly attacking minded Degen was no where to be seen defensively. He was the one responsible for the goal. Insua was taking risk as well and nearly got caught out a couple of times. Maxi was slow like a turtle and kept giving away the ball. Our midfield and defense held grown but our passing in the final third was again a joke.
Lucky Spurs lost and we're still apoint ahead. I'll say forget about the 3rd placing and concentrate more on cementing the 4th place. Man City will be on the way up as well. |

Lucas played a good game along with Mascha in the CM position. N'gog is just too soft to hold the foward line, Babel actually gave us more option when he came in. Agger and Skrtel were huge for us at the back.
