with all those big name manager that been link to us, just mayb kenny daglish is the man for the job, he's the 1 responsible brought us to the top top of the world why would we doubt him to replicate his success..
imagine the impact if he's to become manager, it will spark not only the fan but also our youth especially those extinct english talent in our academy.. well, if we r going to gamble, im put my money on him, never the less , if we want to play safe hiddink is the answer.. |

QUOTE(kop4ever @ Jan 19 2010, 11:41 AM) the bigger problem with their poor performance is the usual performers like Jamie Carragher, Stevie G are not performing or lose interest playing for Rafa its all part of the plan n it sound cool, n only 1 major obstacle separate us from achieving that..moneyThey shd sack him now, bring in guus hiddink if he's really interested. Look how Guus revive Chelesa players last season. In my mind if Guus is really interested, they shd get him now. |

this lucas flaming started last season i suppose, n its never stop since then..
if i can recalled back i think its because he trying to be more than could b during those time, 1)he trying to open defense using his through ball which often or not giving awy the ball cheaply 2)he running in front of the penalty box without any clue 3)again kept giving the ball awy by trying to be xabi 4)he obviously cant hold his ground which obviously costs us a lot of important points n hampered his confidence level to the point of being useless. try to imagine that as a player, when your own fans dislike u, when u playing u cant get the emotion of being support by your own home team crowds.. now, this season, he obviously learnt his mistakes thanks to liverpool fans that pointed out what he shouldnt do.. so where does this bring us again, yes..flaming him for not trying to b creative with his passing.. |

forget about pep, even if he do come which i think he wont, his tactic is not suitable for liverpool especially with the current players that we hav..

its only 3 points, but we get it without conceded any goal, its definitely moral booster for the defender

insua seem to b more promising this season, couple of good games n mistakes here and there which can b fix when he more mature,. he's the only one that managed to cheers us a bit this season ...if he continue to improve which i think he will, im not surprise if barca came n knock his door..

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Feb 8 2010, 05:07 PM) Just to add, I like some posters here cannot help but scoff at comments suggesting that Aquilani wasn't used against Everton because the game was "too physical" for him. What is he? A bloody pansy? If it is really true, why the hell did we buy him anyway considering most English sides, are by nature, physical? Neither Lucas nor Benayoun are built like tanks are they? yeah, i kindda agree wit u but its rafa the one who monitoring his fitness level week in week out n u can never understand rafa when he making decision, but take nothing away from him, aquilani could start against arsenal, just could.. |

the riddles why rafa chose n'gog continue, i dont want to say a lot a bout him, we all know his weakness, the way i see it he's suitable to become holding midfielder rather than a striker because he's rarely trouble the opponent defense with his run,.. i said it before that babel should be given more opportunity to play upfront especially when torres is out, but seems like rafa prefer somebody that r more defensive minded..

QUOTE(-nana- @ Feb 12 2010, 02:13 AM) i'm sick of u guys bashing ngog..looks like he is our new victim after lucas..take a look at arsenal.. rvp is their main striker n they play with 1 upfront too..with him out long term..arsene got the bashing of the english media..n quizzed on y he didnt buy a new striker..heck.. but y is arsenal winning apart from their 2 defeats recently..they even did the double over us this season.. we lost torres..its just the same..so stop bashing ngog just because u guys are angered n disappointed by the defeat. i am too.. but this is the squad we have.. we know we dont have any money to spend..so stick with this..n deal with our problems with whatever we've got. what i would actually wanted was kuyt playing striker n babel starting. andy gray did comment he was puzzled y babel cant even get a start..after the shot he had which could have been a goal had it gone either side of almunia's goal. n if he had scored. i bet all u guys would say he shud be given a chance...bla bla bla..n if we would have won.. lets say 1-0..kuyt scoring..u guys would have forgotten how badly ngog played. the guy is new here..i'm not saying that i am one of his fan, i'm not. i'll only pass my judgement on him after many more games.. look at the mancs.. they have berba n owen on the bench. heck..how often do u see them scoring ? lets say roo is out..n berba starts for a num of games..yet dont score..but mancs still win..i doubt he will get as much bashing as ngog. n yet he cost 30mil pounds..n heck..he was a proven goalscorer back in spurs.. so the problem actually lies with goals..we arent getting enough from the rest of the team... i knw some of u might add that there is no point comparing teams as each team is build differently n play to a certain system.. but i am just giving u guys a bigger view.. dude, u cannot compare rvp with ngog, they r totally different type of player, rvp is more mobile n love to run around and not afraid to shoot whenever there's opportunity..ngog? what did he does?..holding the ball n pass the ball short n most of the time the move end up no where ..i was frustrated with the game that night..not because of the team rafa put out..but because of how we played..u could see confidence was very low in the arsenal camp..u could hear the fans anxiety when they failed to create any sort of decent chance to trouble pepe.. n all rafa did was tell the players to keep it tight.. gahhhhhhhhhhhhhh ! about that cross in by rosc, insua should be more alert when it come to defend.. |

QUOTE(fk2222 @ Feb 15 2010, 01:20 AM) bro...the problem is rafa could not convince hypia and other players to stay on. look how scholes and giggs and even neville can be so loyal to alex, i think many clubs have tried to offer better price for it , more or less. actually what had happen this season is something that unpredictable..hypiaa demand to play regular, on top of that we have cara, agger, n martin..its understandable that rafa couldn't guarantee hypia places in the team n that force him to test his luck else where.. QUOTE(fk2222 @ Feb 15 2010, 01:58 AM) how ironic we sold hypia and bring in krytos that is in old age as well?! again, it was last minutes decision which at the end of the day prove to be correct gambleif that cant justify whether rafa did a mistake there for not keeping well of hypia, he probably have more smoother talk with a veteran like him. as much im cursing rafa for loan nemeth out, there's nothing we can do about it..as for ngog, im not a big fan of him, but currently we r short of striker, as i said b4 im prefer to see kuyt or babel to play as striker rather than ngog, but rafa think choosing ngog instead of other r more wise,,well, we just hav to live wit that n hopefully we get what he promised, 4th place..
