Actually I'd rather Insua not become a Roberto Carlos given the latters defensive frailties. The downside is that he isn't quick on the turn which sadly is largely genetic. He has to make up for it by reading the game better and better positioning, just like Hamann.

I have to agree that of all our signings this season, Kyrgiakos seems to be the best value. He has given us the aerial prowess we've been lacking. It's not mere coincidence that we aren't conceeding as many goals from setpieces as we were at the beginning of the season.
