Do you still remain the original stock size of 185/65/15?

Mine is 195/60/15 maybe a bit heavy.
But mostly drove in town & taman
*
Yea I still using the original stock size. 480 is mixture normal and highway but if normal KL roads means 400-450 only

Then again I seldom go above 3,500 rpm biggrin.gif

Average about 400-450 in town. 480 mixture highway and town. Can go up to 500.

Then again I'm a very light footer as I don't like to go above 3.5k rpm

Hi guys,

Thinking of booking the last unit (  thats what been told) NEW sentra 1.6 (auto) sport grey . Whats your suggestion guys?

Priced at 93.+++, but Nissan/Salesman offer RM10000 discount because 2012 unit and no more production.

OTR price: RM83000

Hehe..In dilemma totally because i never liked VIOS or CITY... icon_question.gif
*
Would suggest Almera or Latio. N16 is using a really old chassis and technology (since the early 90's). The suspension isn't top notch either. I bought mine 2nd hand and had to fix a bit

Tyres: 195/60

Fuel Consumption:

Full tank (RM 77/40.5 litres) can go 430-480km

Fella N16 owners, I recently have a problem with my 2003 N16 where the gearbox will have an gear engagement delay for a second or two if it's a cold start.

It works perfectly fine if it's been "warmed up" but if you turn off the engine for perhaps an hour or a few then it will have this gearbox lag again.

When this happens and you go for the gas pedal, it will not respond for one second or two but there will be an sudden engine thrust after it starts responding. It is as if the gas pedal has registered your stepping on it but it takes two seconds to respond.

Anyone's faced this problem before and have a solution?

Change gear oil. Or change gear box

Don't trust the mileage and what the dealer say

- call up Nissan SC and check car plate and service record. See got major accident or not and check mileage. Confirm over 100k
- send car for inspection at Nissan SC. Pay nominal sum and ask them do thorough checking on suspension, engine, brakes, electronics

C drive 2 ok la so far. Got funny sound during wet conditions though but handling is good.

I'm not a heavy footer so I wouldn't know what happens during high speed corner or highways.

Hi, I am driving Nissan Sentra GXE 2001 model Auto. Just found this forum. I have few problems with my car. The steering is wobbling at low speeds and feels uneven. A mechanic told me my steering rack gone and cost to replace it is 3k plus. I have new engine mountings.so not the engine nor the gearbox as they also have been replaced with new mountings. My balancing and alignment is done too. Besides, my roof is experiencing rusting sad.gif went to body shop near my place. they said can do for rm450 but the rust will return after a year or two.so no point.he asked me to consider cutting the roof but that is so troublesome. And it doesn't stop there my brakes don't have that liner operation feel to it. It's hard to estimate the stopping distance. For now I plan to change the brake pads to original hitachi japan. Hope that works.

Do send to Nissan SC for a 2nd opinion

They know the car best
