HI All. I own a N16 2010 model last batch of the n16. Its now 5 years old. I have experienced sound coming from the wheels when i drive like those olde taxi when you go over a bump or bumpy roads. At first i taught it was either the baring broke or the absorber issue. The forman check and said there is nothing wrong with those both. He said mounting is also good. Is there any other things i can check. I have tried going to 2 foreman and both said is ok nothing wrong with it. Second thing can it be my rims which is the light rims which could be causing this.

This is the common problem for N16, something have to do with the brake caliper part, there is free space due to wear and tear on the part that hold the brake pad if not mistaken i read it from somewhere.

Hi All
Just to share if you notice there is a knocking near your wheel especially the front this is what you would need to change. Its a pin where the rubber is worn out as shown in the picture below. Its actually located near your front brake calipers. The cost for 4 pc is around 100 to 140 depends on shop. Best to get it from spare part shop which is cheaper. Dont be full that you need to change the absorb er. For cheap fix you can also use some white pvc tape and wrap it round it which i did while waiting for the part which took about a week to get it.

My car is sentra sport year 2010.
