I am currently using Denso Iridium plugs, these are my 2nd set so far, been using Denso Iridium plugs for the past 5 years... Well, from my observation, it gives me very easy engine start-up in the morning, slight improvement in acceleration, slight improvement in FC...

Perhaps you can try out Bosch's new Platinum + Iridium plugs, but I'm not sure whether it's good or not...

For me, to improve FC, I make sure I don't put the pedal to the metal all the time... biggrin.gif

Thanx bro...may b I can try my E13 with Denso & N16 with Bosch plat+ir... hmm.gif
Wait a minute....I shall try it on my gal's blm (Bosch)... brows.gif

Will update after using it... icon_rolleyes.gif

My engine is the SR16VE NEO VVL, the previous clutch is an Nissan OEM one, but it's also a racing clutch...

This is my first time using Exedy Racing Clutch, it's pretty much the same as the OEM one, like the OEM one it is also quite a heavy clutch, the pros about these racing clutches is that power delivery is very immediate, the cons is that these kinda clutches are not easy to modulate, especially when moving from a stationary position...

I don't have much choice but to buy this Exedy one becoz the OEM one cannot be found in M'sia...

Yes, it does affect HP in a way, a racing clutch is more efficient in transferring power from the engine to the gearbox, so there's less power loss in the transfer, meaning more power to the wheels... And since it's more efficient, FC will improve a bit too...
*
Wah...like that can u pls let me know how much difference the FC is after testing? I would really appreciate it. nod.gif

I can't seem to get good FC on my N16 la....auto. 11km per litre. My sunny can reach 13km per litre some more carburator old engine with 1.3l. thumbup.gif

How much did it cost you ah?

Thank u icon_rolleyes.gif

Well, with my kind of driving style, the difference in FC won't be much... laugh.gif

Right now, the FC is about 10.2km/L, nothing to shout about...

The Exedy clutch set was bought at RM850...
*
I guess that is a reasonable price for EXEDY clutch huh...

10.2 km/l... hmm.gif what about your previous FC b4 change?

Thanks bro, for layaning me all this while....I wish to learn & keep the thread alive... thumbup.gif

Asking on behalf of my friend

He wanted to buy N16 (1.6 year 2001) price at 36k
Is it reasonable?

This engine using timing chain?
*
Yup nod.gif , it should range from 33 - 36k, provided it's in good condition. hmm.gif

wat bout 1.5 ? (price at 33k) year 2001
timing belt or chain?

Vanquish- is the chain need to change? or just adjust?
*
1.5 should b from 30 - 32k if not mistaken however 1.5 auto underpower unless if it's manual slightly better.
only noticable difference between 1.5, 1.6 & 1.8 is the engine capacity, other than that, they have very minor ones.

belt - need to replce, chain, don't have to but need to calibrate once in a blue moon.

Hi, shinkawa, welcome to our little club... smile.gif
I'm not familiar with B11's shock absorbers... How old is your coil springs? Usually coil springs no need to change wan, unless you wanna lower your ride height... I would recommend that you use back OEM shocks, which is from Kayaba or APM, I think...
*
Front 2 is 'KOWA' brand & just 1 month old. I think d OEM absorbers are a soft la...thinking of getting the gas filled KYB...but afraid if made d wrong choice...slightly stiffer is fine as long as d body roll is not so much as it is right now.

Any experience user of KYB or APM shocks? Oh...thanks Vanquish for d heads up thumbup.gif
