brothers (with Waja CPS gated gear shift), have you guys ever felt that the shifting of the gear stick is very hard and stiff? like, u compare to toyota, or benz, so much softer and smoother and lighter! any methods to loosen up the stiffness?
and also, how come the steering is so heavy? i pumped my tired 35psi, checked the power steering reservoir still full of oil. but if compared to persona, it's very light. |

QUOTE(yngwie @ Mar 26 2010, 08:50 PM) TUV-hyperstar@ oh yeah, on highway it rox my sox hahafrom my observation, waja power steering is stiff but it's more 'telling' during hard cornering Added on March 26, 2010, 8:58 pm QUOTE(jolipoli81 @ Mar 26 2010, 05:21 PM) the gated gear is surely stiffer compare to other cars, but i already got use to it, i think sam did something with it, ask him swk_sam? eh the gear stick can modify to be less stiff? eh teach teach teach!waja steering is always been heavy, im also wondering what to do to lighten it a bit Added on March 26, 2010, 8:59 pm QUOTE(bex9432 @ Mar 26 2010, 05:30 PM) just to add.... i think it's the steering itself, terpasang senget la. mine is always drifting to the right, no matter how many times send to different tyre shops for alignment, there are another problem which I believe most of waja user face it.. the steering tend to go left side... like mine.. my steering not allign properly although already do alligmnent (few shop but result still same)... is this problem comes from our steering rack as when i drive fast ( > 130kmh), the steering feel so light when at straight line even u can rotate a litle bit but the car still go straight.. mean like have a gap between cornering and go straight... Added on March 26, 2010, 9:01 pm QUOTE(mxsteven @ Mar 26 2010, 05:38 PM) Waja P.Steering is heavy coz it is balanced for performance.... try to see UK review... it had almost the best review on the P.Steering... i know it is quite ridiculous but what can we do... coz it is proton lols... you can lighten it by using honda high pressure hydraulic pump but i dunno the steering rack can take it or not! hmm... please enlighten me a bit, i dont quite understand how the high pressure pump will affect the rack.
