thanks, does it improve torque in any way? or just for show purposes?
*
it does improve on low-end torque and s-flow is quite effective.. if better u add more budget go for whole exhaust setup change.. 4-2-1, piping (better the size near to stock) bullet, and lastly s-flow.. good enough setup for auto.. really can feel the difference..

QUOTE(liette` @ Mar 1 2010, 03:36 PM)
guys if i were to change my filter to K&N air filter, drop-in or open pod is better? the differences?
*
I suggest u go for drop-in.. coz open-pod without proper channeling of the air-flow will not work much.. plus if for auto its sucks more fuel if open-pod rather then drop-in.. K&N is a good choice.. coz when u mod the exhaust.. its better u also change the filter as to give better breathing to ur car..

sam, any reason why you choose sachs? Was wondering what abs suits best for waja with good handling and at the same time not compromising the comfort also.
how bout your spring? still using the stock spring?

I choose Sachs becos balance between comfort & handling, durable & most important with reasonable price biggrin.gif

pop up your hood & check both absorber mounting... ask your friend turn your fully steering for both side & u observe the mounting... the mounting shud not moving... if is moving when turning the steering, its time to change it... 1 more thing is, center of the mounting would not higher level in position with side of mounting.. if is higher, time to change too...

Here is the mounting picture...

I also using Sachs abs.. front and rear.. very satisfied with the handling performance.. not too hard like sport abs where u will feel very bumpy, and when u go for cornering or drive in highspeed (>150) u wont feel the flooding kind of feeling.. This is what i feel after changing from stock to sachs abs.. but i have coupled it with APM performax lowered spring.. rclxms.gif

So if anyone wanna change abs, i would recomended sachs if u looking for good handling with reasonable price.. thumbup.gif

Good to remove catcon for more unrestricted power, but will give pollution..maybe you can try using twin-loop muffler without removing the catcon.

And for K&N filter drop-in i got it at garage sales forum. maybe you can try another brand (forgot the name but it comes in blue colour filter) cause looks so easy to wash it, with just using detergent soap..

just like any other adjustable with limited hi low setting( minus the soft hard), the ride is very stiff on mines adjustable suspension.
getting a customize spring will not help much either!

u remove the catcon so replace the midbox, if not what u wanna replace with? haha smile.gif , the stock manifold is restricting the exhaust flow and heavy, change to 421extractor -better flow and lighter.

ahh, because i saw a diagram of the exhaust system before and it goes like this

extractor --> catcon --> midbox--->piping--->muffler

so i was wondering if i remove the catcon and replace wit midbox, den i'll end up having 2 midbox? thats wat im confused about.

normal, i also the same or almost the same, midbox function to reduce the exhaust noise. browse through the thread a few pages, we did have some discussion about the exhaust. do a search of the thread.

eh i dont think u got wat i meant lol.

i mean standard stock car have:

extractor --> cat con--> mid box-->pipe--->muffler

so lets say i remove cat con n replace wit another mid box den my setup would be:

extractor--->midbox-->midbox--->pipe--->muffler

is that right? anyone can confirm this?
