sweat.gif dun curse me man.. i had to fix back my ori filter back yesterday.. failure....
*
doh.gif Shud ask them to fix for u when u bought that filter... so on the spot u will know is it fit to your hose... Last time I change my old car open pod filter also like that... luckily install on the spot, but not fit, after that change to other model... If u go for open pod, better get the 1 that surrounded with carbon fibre filter to prevent hot air suck in.. biggrin.gif This is the 1 I using on picture below. Its will be slightly expensive but u wont regret biggrin.gif

Guess everyone is back to ipoh for "Cheng Meng"..
Just want to ask you guys.. yesterday i was tailing a nissan mirano at highway but wasnt aware that i was speeding until i feel a vibration on the floor then as i looked at the speedo meter. i was doing like 160km/h (my new record actually)..
Is that normal on a waja when you hit that speed you will feel vibration on the chasis floor..?
*
Its engine vibration or uncommon vibration?

Brotherjoe@
you sure it was the chassis floor vibration?
uneven tires wear or even an aged suspension that can't sustain certain speed will cause the vibration. your wheels bearing is fine?
check your lower arm bushes
i used to drive at 190km/h without any vibration.
btw, waja speedometer is more or less about 10km/h faster than the actual speed recorded on digital meter / gps.

swk_sam@
my waja 4g18p doesn't even vibrate at 190km/h.
but engine vibration at high speed accompanied by a humming sound thats very disturbing to the ear; a sign of engine mounting going to reach it's end of lifespan  tongue.gif

jolipoli81@
yes. that's the way it's done! most of the workshop in sunway will be happily customize em for you  thumbup.gif
johnvk is one tough guy  flex.gif  his ride used to be on bling2 wheels with hardest tein superstreet setup  sweat.gif
*
Mine also go steady on 190 kph biggrin.gif Anyway, speedo meter 10kph slower than gps speed only if u are using 195/55/15 tyre. If u are using 195/65/15, 205/55/16 or 205/45/17 will only had 1-3kph tolerance speed different biggrin.gif

din know that stock tires size will get diff speedo reading from gps, supposely stock tires size shud be same as gps rite??how about those japanese cars?? hmm.gif
*
I think Proton save cost for 15 rim cars by using smaller tyre. Cos 16 rim model speed are tally with actual speed.

haha, maybe you're right.
so, which tyre can bring us to a higher speed?
*
Those tyre indicated "V" already bring you to max 270kph. Actually, the "W" can go to max 240 is enough for us, unless you ride can go beyond 240 kph biggrin.gif If you dunno the indication i said, you can go check your tyre side wall, it shud have indication like e.g "91w" or "87v"

Guys, how much does it cost at Proton SC to check what's wrong with my ECU? My radiator fan now keep pusing only doesn't stop whether engine cool or hot. I believe something wrong with my ECU since the ECU ignition light turn on all the time. Is it possible the wiring got problem?
*
Go to any shop that have tools to check your electronic system.. 1 time check around RM30 above.

dear sifu,
WTS: what tyres recommended for 15" ori Waja rim?
my requirement is reasonable price with good durability & reliablity. No need performance.

i'm thinking of  Falken ZIEX 912 ? ok ar? smile.gif
*
Use Yoko A.Drive, value for money. Falken = farken in wet road.
