What's the major differences after remap the ecu ?
*
thats depend on the setup! it is like having a stand-alone programmable ECU which u can alter the AFR! to describe simple, it's just shifting the powerband and enable your engine to run on full potential mode.

I beg to differ. This only applies to cable systems, such as a bicycle.

As for hydraulic systerms, e.g. our car braking system, the pedal travel distance wont make any difference. BUT, what you'll notice is tht your brake fluid reservoir inside there less d.

As for the pro-rs, will check priicng.

Added on March 28, 2010, 9:54 amwhite lighter : you may have air in the system tongue.gif. But this may or may not be RARE.

i see. yeah ppl told me that bendix will bite the discs faster too. so i'm assuming that the 50 bucks difference between bosch and bendix, bendix would bite alot more than bosch?
*
exactly! tongue.gif
i always believe brake is one of the most important part in the car. hence, play around with most of the branded pad from entry level mintex, a few from bosch to ferodo and bendix not to mention single, twin and 4 pot caliper from different manufacturer.
high performance disc need to pair with equally good cross drilled performance disc rotor for maximum gain brows.gif
when those high performance brake pad mated to standard disc rotor on waja, all you get is dust and faster wear and tear on the disc rotor icon_rolleyes.gif

50 ringgit for rotor seems scarry laugh.gif

anyway my break pedal now require me to press quite deep before it start to bite. anyone know how can i shorten the distance?
*
how long was it since you last service your brake system? if more than a year, then you need to bleed' and change the brake fluid already.

between years 03-06 got a few models. first is mitsu 4g18 engine. then theres the 1.8 variant which you should stay away from because of many problems. then in 06 the campro came out.

if you want full specs u'll have to look for a 1.6X waja. these come with abs, airbags, leather interior, bigger rims etc. 1.6X is also using 4g18 engine btw.

many ppl here will advise you to get the 4g18(no offence, fellow campro-ers tongue.gif) since it has better low end torque and better fc. but the campro isnt that bad either. just that it might be a real fuel drinker if you drive around the city alot. smile.gif good luck hunting.

Added on March 28, 2010, 8:14 pmedit: anyone know how much of brake fluid is needed to replace the entire reservoir?

normal hose made out of rubber. it expand when under braking. steel braided hose dont... so ur pedal feel is suppose to be abit more firmer
