Here is my N1's APN setting for Celcom 3G.
p/s : The MMS setting also can be done in singgle APN setting. This is for Celcom 3G Postpaid 3G plan. 1) Home -> Menu -> Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Mobile networks -> Access Points Name 2) Menu -> New APN Enter this Name : Celcom 3G APN : celcom3g MMSC: http://mms.celcom.net.my MMS Proxy : 10.128.1.242 MMS Port : 8080 That's it.. Make it as default and try to send and receive the MMS. TQ. Added on January 16, 2010, 10:59 pmshshz: Sorry, I dont' have maxis... but, you can replace the fields with your Maxis setting. Note:// Yup my N1 3G is sometime better then my wife's SE K770i, which are using celcom. Added on January 16, 2010, 11:00 pmshahz: You can put this settings in the first page of this thread. Thanks again. This post has been edited by bahathir: Jan 16 2010, 11:00 PM |

QUOTE(shahz @ Jan 16 2010, 08:48 PM) Here is a sample image taken from the camera. Maximum resolution, no effects whatsoever. Taken indoor, and I'm not a photographer. LOL. dude, it looked quite blur. Were you nervous when taking the snapshot? Or the lens is dirty? And here is a sample video from the camera. Its on YouTube, so the quality is reduced of course. Don't expect too much from a phone camera, but what you should see here is the framerate of the video. It's a lot better than the HTC Hero if you ask me * my N1 is on its way from HK...ETA next week |

guys i'm another nexus one user here.. got it 2 days ago from mr irwan.. the phone is now replacing my 3GS. it's a tough decision bcoz iPhone is such a great phone.. but my eagerness to test out new stuff is the main factor for all this to happen..
so far i've no problem with the nexus one, except i felt the typing is not that smooth as iPhone. the word come out on the screen is slower than my finger.. the feeling was the same like using omnia last time.. other than that it's a good phone. like shahz, i just need more apps then only i can be happier than now |

irenic..really ahr? I used iPhone too and I think the Nexus One's keyboard is much agile..I made lots of errors on iPhone though maybe because my thumbs are huge..but on Nexus One, I have 99% accuracy..
Btw guys since there are more Nexus One users here now, my Nexus One has officially ROOTED! |

I'm still unable to go online with digi in my nexus one. Just to confirm, apn name is diginet and everything else is pretty much blank right? I even tried blank uid/pass, digi/digi, guest/guest. All doesn't work. I'm not trying to get mms running at this point, data first! Do I need to restart the phone or something before I can get the apn to take effect?

N1 can display unicode and CJK characters. but, you have to install IME for inputting CJK texts.
Here I tried OpenWnn Plus (from Market), and I can simply input Japanese characters. Rooting my N1.. ? ... mmm.. not yet.. I want a much simpler way to root it... ie, similar to androidmagic's modded su utility Thank you. Attached thumbnail(s) |
