The Google wording is on the top, near the camera, which is not shown in the picture.

First of all, congrats to Bahathir on his Nexus One!
Also, thanks to him for submitting another review for LYN. I have posted the review on the first page so everyone can read it conveniently. The engraving looks lovely bro! And to those who are going to get Nexus One, if you do not plan to sell it in the future, make it yours by engraving it Bahathir, actually, I also switched the cpufreq governor to conservative but then decided to switch it back to ondemand. I think I need it to "store" my juice when I need it. Its a 1GHz monster and I really don't want it to use it modestly..haha.. I have to say, my surfing and GMaps has been really interesting knowing that it has the power it needs anytime, anywhere I'm starting to think, if this is the direction of superphones now, we might as well expect a dual core processor in Nexus 2.0 I am looking forward to see what Apple has in their hood to answer Nexus One. Undoubtedly, whenever people see my Nexus One, they just try really hard to compare it with iPhone..There are only three things Android needs now to compete with iPhone and give them a nice spanking, and they are: 1. Apps 2. Apps 3. and more apps! Thats all! Added on January 16, 2010, 6:52 pminnards, currently, it comes with a flat pin US adapter. For other countries, all you will get is just three pins or two rounded pins plug (which you can actually convert yourself with a cheaper adapter). The power ratings do support Malaysia too. So, I don't find it difficult to use at all. This post has been edited by shahz: Jan 16 2010, 06:52 PM |

Noted that Chinese is supported. Are there options for other Asian languages as well, esp Japanese?

Hey, Shahz
When your free and have done rooting and flashing your N1 can you do a guide for it please? Just if your free. Thanks, I like your brief review was really good. Helped me make up my mind whether or not to get the N1. = ] Btw, have you encountered any dust under the screen? or clicking noise when you press down on the corners? |

Even if you can refund it (non-engrave), still USD45 stocking fee will be deducted from the total refund.
So, yes, you have pros and cons about on 'engraving'. But, if you like Google, then the engrave is the best way to show your LOVE to Google.. Added on January 16, 2010, 8:16 pmshahz : Since the N1 is quite hot selling item in Malaysia, how about buy another one with engraving + firmware update. Then sell your current N1 to others. Here is a sample image taken from the camera. Maximum resolution, no effects whatsoever. Taken indoor, and I'm not a photographer. LOL.
And here is a sample video from the camera. Its on YouTube, so the quality is reduced of course. Don't expect too much from a phone camera, but what you should see here is the framerate of the video. It's a lot better than the HTC Hero if you ask me YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UT-ZXivHBCA |

Can one of you proud N1 owners test something for me.
When you're on the phone with someone, are you able to play a song for the person on the other end with the Android music player? My old Nokia 6630 could do this but since then I've not owned a phone that could. |
