Haha..when you have root you have endless possiilities..There no one thing that root can't do which unroot phone can..You can do a nandroid backup of the original ROM you have, use a CMR, go back to the custom ROM, or install the original ROM anytime (downloads can be provided). But if you have root, seriously, custom ROM will wow you even more But like I said, when you have root, you have endless possibilities..Only be patient when you do your stuff
There is actually one more method of memory management which lets the Android kill apps that hogs background memory without using the TasKiller. I did it once and it was really awesome. Problem is, I change my ROM all the time so it has to be re-done all the time. I think someone actually posted a link of it somewhere in this thread. But its going to be a long search if you guys want to find out coz it's a link to another forum Or, you can search on xda / modaco..Dang, I really need to recompile all of these tips etc.

Updates to the community project, I'm thinking, instead we have our own wiki for Malaysian Androiders..We can have all APN lists, rooting guides, basic rooting guides, specific model rooting addition steps, etc etc..But I need a very huge support for this if I want to go with it..Because newer phones will be coming out soon and we will need to play with them..And of maybe we will have to make it ads and donations driven to maintain it (buying new phones etc for testing)..
We can even include reviews..Its still not too late as there are still not that many Android phones yet in the market..If we want to do, we have to do it really fast..

In fact, its part of what I do for a living. Our donations are totally independent with no force and the site will be driven with little advertisments. These money are not for our benefit or what not. It may only provide us with gadgets for reviews and testing (which we can actually sell off at lesser price to our visitors who are interested in purchasing them). Its only an idea of course and if it does happen, I will be more than happy. But if this has to happen, I need a very solid force. It will be more than a community. It will be a "family"

i tried to put the whole nexus one in the userbar, but its kinda hard, only way is to put in a pic of one row of interesting yet iconic Google's icons (like google sky map, google goggle) together with the phone border at the side. but i was rushing that time for something else so settled for this

Nope I have never experience this but o believe this problem was solved when Google release the ota(over the air) update so there is no need to be alarm as the moment u activate the phone for net you'll receive the update.

To use the navigation you need to Have the maps 4.0 you can get that thru one the link provided by one of the foromers here or in xda developers forum.

Now launch the map and tap on get directions enter your destination and tap go. It will then get your driving instructions. Now here is where you get the options show on map or navigate simply tap on navigate and it will bring u to Google navigation turn by turn.

Did you enable GPS? When GPS is enabled, it can be very accurate. However, GPS is affected by various disturbances which includes being inside the house (under the roof), rainy day, and even cloudy day..so far, the worse i ever got is, me being inside the house and the pointer showing my house balcony instead of where I really am..which I don't really mind..I hate stalkers anyway..haha
Uhhh..no..only navigation is so far available for Malaysia..Turn by turn and buzz are not yet available in Malaysia..

eh..animated wallpaper doesnt use flash 10.1..It works even on stock ROMs..I haven't tried the wiper animated wallpaper though..so I may be wrong..but others work flawlessly (except seeds of life which force closes occasionally)

Seeds of life is a paid app - available in Market with ME

when i have this problem normally what I'll do is to press the back button until i come out of the Gallery. Do the same for Camera too. Do it a few times. Works for me, I never have to reboot the phone.
