As I know, Your pet need a passport as You're bringging it out of Malaysia. Furthermore, you need your pet's health condition [About rabies vaccination etc.] (Check from Vet) before export your dogs to Singapore. You going there by Air? If yes, then check with Msia airline, AirAsia or whatsover about the ticket price and onboard facilities for pet care. And call up to enquire whether Singapore does the Quaritined thingy on pets. And this is what I get from the Malaysia gov web, I think. I tried to help. Haha. See you~

PROCEDURES TO FOLLOW IN EXPORTING DOGS / CATS

1) The owner will bring the animalwith a letter or reference stating that the animal has been examined and found healthy, was properly immunized/vaccinated (Rabies, CPV+DHL; Rabies vaccination should be done more than 30 days prior to departure). Import documents from the importing countries should be attached.

2) After examining the animal and confirming the corresponding identification, the microchip will be inserted and the animal bled for Nipah virus testing to be done in Veterinary Research Institute, Ipoh (VRI) ( IgG ).

3) Once the result is known ( negative for Nipah Virus ), the owner will be contacted. He/she will then be required to bring a letter of reference from their own vet with the following statement :-

* The animal has had no contact with pigs during the past 60 days prior to export.
* The animal has not been a resident on holdings where during the past 60 days cases of Nipah virus disease have been confirmed.
* The date of the letter must correspond with the date of issue of the health certificate and export permit.

The fees for the above procedures are as follows :

Health Certificate RM 3.00 / per animal
Export Permit RM 3.00 / per animal
Microchip Insertion RM 50.00 / per animal
Blood Sampling

RM 20.00 / per sample
( To be taken within 10 days of export)
ELISA test for Nipah Virus RM 20.00 / per sample
Total RM96.00 / per animal

Kindly take note that the dog needs to be quarantined for 1 month time at Singapore.

There are charges of $SGD 600-900 for the one month period of time.

On reply to your question, a pet dog relocated from KL to Kuching, Sarawak need to be held for a minimum 2 (Two) months quarantine.

The actual cost only can be determine after the owner provide us the dogs details such as;

1) Dog Breed.

2) Age.

3) Scan Vaccination Records.

4) Rabies Vaccination.

5) Weights and sizes of the dog.

With all the needed details provided we are able to check with the respective Airlines for the actual rates by the dimension of the crate (Volume Metrics) comparing to the actual weight of the dog + crates.
