QUOTE(kamazaki @ Oct 25 2010, 12:54 PM) i was wandering, how to copy contacts to my simcard? Added on October 25, 2010, 1:32 pmwhy is it so difficult to update my firmware? it keep on asking me to free more memory for updating, why so primitive ??? my nokia or my motorolla does will auto prompt for you which file to delete if my memory is not enough or full during updating...... Diff brand diff way of updating. Cannot compare.

QUOTE(kamazaki @ Oct 25 2010, 02:02 PM) i know its not the same with other brand ok, but at least smart system will show us which file to delete or continue to erase current firmware then rewrite it with the new ones rite? how many times should i wipe my hand held device? , its not easy for most new user like me..... Yeah sometimes updating firmware can be a headache. I personally hate updating firmware.

QUOTE(kamazaki @ Oct 25 2010, 03:28 PM) but ppl keep talking abt os 5 is much better for bold 9000, like when viewing photos or videos or youtube or other application are much faster and smoother ............who doesnt want that????? Definitely OS5 is much better then OS4. Why not u try to backup yr BB and do a wipe. Then only update firmware.

Yes possible to brick if luck not yr end. Avoid reformatting the set no particular reason. Only do it if u really have to. Reformatting the set puts it on heavy stress.

QUOTE(eolmanagement @ Oct 31 2010, 01:32 PM) I face the same problem too, but mine is because of the antivirus software, try to modify your setting on the firewall, the nrestart your computer, then try to connect the BB to your computer, it should worl this time. Good luck! Did u disable the windows firewall too?
