Hey guys any idea how long the SMS hotfix takes to install? Mine has gone on for a few minutes already O.o

can I have the link for the hotfix?

Yea the hotfix gonna take awhile.

Is it the newest sms hotfix won't show on remove application there ? Because I don't know my hotfix is it install rightly or not, it take long time until my hd2 off then i open back check on remove application there didn't see the same with hotfix number.
If I reinstall again it say not compatible with my device.

You will know the hotfix is installed when you see "-GSM" on previous SMSs.

OH thank you dgtel2, I see the -GSM, for my own guess, maybe this hotfix is overwrite old sms hotfix that is number 7567.

Ahhh.. yes yes its installed then I've noticed improvement in the SMS loading place...

Although I have to admit the GSM thing is pretty annoying lol

I tried my friend's HD2...screen so big...I fell like smashing my N97 now..lol

hd2 got a problem...sometime it will hang if i didn't receive a call n let it ring untill it stop.. i can't on it...i got to take out the battery to restart it...(sometime i got no pin or a pen with me, so take out the battery to restart is easier)

never have this issue. maybe some background applications make it unstable.

Em actually how to remove the newest sms update hotfix? I getting problem on the All message compose that menu with big big word.... it look like get buggy like that.

you can't remove the hotfix.

Omg.... it going to hard reset again T-T.....

I'm afraid that's the only answer. but I didn't have any issue after installing the update. so far so good. I'm guessing a lot of users having issue is due to too many 3rd party applications that is not compatible with HTC Sense. so far I've installed many applications that do not ruin my unit; touch wood.

my camera function hang at the camera icon there and wont show the screen leh, anyone have the same problem too?

try to remove battery. wait for 5 minutes. insert back battery. reboot. and test camera. if doesn't work, try to remove SD card and test again.

hi guys, i was plaaning to buy this phone but when i am doing some research, i found out that some people have this sms stuck at the outbox issue. Just want to know that does this means if my phone got this issue, it means i cant sms or reply sms to others? I am quite concerned about this issue since i sms a lot.. Thanks in advance!!

you should test the unit thoroughly before purchasing. I have no sms problem since day 1 having this baby.
