they should have let HBO do it, turn it into a big budget series similar to GoT
or even Mini series

I see many young generations that doesn't read or know about the original novel, went into the cinema because of few big names like Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin and Zendaya, expecting an action filled movie, but end up disappointed, and claim it's boring laugh.gif

This masterpiece aint for the general public, especially those spoilt by the superhero action genre

I'm kinda worried now I won't be able to see Part 2

PS: this is one of those movie that need to be watch on huge IMAX screen with best audio system in order to appreciate the scale of it

while watching the movie, I kinda have this dejavu feeling
some scenes felt like I've seen it before, and no, I haven't watch any of the trailers nor read any reviews about the movie

turn out some of the scenes are very similar to the first Dune 1984 (I was surprised I still remember many of it laugh.gif), as well as the lead actor, Timothee is kinda reprising his role of a reluctant leader from his other movie on Netflix, The King

good news indeed, but gotta wait until 2023 before we can watch in on big screen

WB should have green light the idea of filming part 1 & 2 together, not only it will reduce the production cost and time, the fans can watch it in cinema sooner as well

as most of the multipart epic movies are filmed in the same production cycle nowadays, I was surprised that Dune haven't done so...

oh well, that's WB...
