Are you sure they didn't charge you for actual data usage on their data lines (3G, EDGE, etc)? I find it weird that a telco will charge you for connecting to wifi. How do they keep track of your data download if it doesn't go through their pipeline?
Last time someone said that iPhone automatically switches to a data line if the Wifi signal is low or lost. And he got hit with whopping phone bills. Because iPhone wants to be seamless ma, so they switch without telling u |
