QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Jan 16 2010, 12:20 AM) dunno @.@ maybe they think this is cool? But i still prefer single tap lor... swipe very mafan need to open eyes and see =.= yalar..now i have to either swipe or turn over the phone and snooze it first...this is the dumbest UI i've ever seen for an alarm..unless their idea is to really make you awake enough to swipe it so that you dont go back to sleep..lolzAdded on January 16, 2010, 12:23 am QUOTE(deShinyDevil @ Jan 16 2010, 12:23 AM) smooth and nice but its kinda overratedla..i feel that the increased touch sensitivity for this new firmware overall is good tho..worth the upgradeThis post has been edited by CyberKewl: Jan 16 2010, 12:23 AM |

QUOTE(Dannyl @ Jan 16 2010, 07:19 AM) A practical reason I can think of is that when your phone is locked and your alarm sounds / call comes in, you won't accidentally snooze/stop/answer/reject by simply touching on the screen (for example, while taking the phone out of your pocket). I understand that practical reason but most of us i believe use alarms for waking ourselves up from sleep..so since they use swipe, it would be like we really need to be up to swipe it otherwise we'd blur blur try to press but still make noise...nokia could have at least gave us an option instead!Makes sense to me. Added on January 16, 2010, 7:20 am Sodeska... I'll try it out then post results here |

QUOTE(darude87 @ Jan 16 2010, 12:27 PM) Yes, its mainly due to the increased touch responsiveness..previous firmware i have to tap twice sometimes before it registers as a single touch in certain places but now no longer have that problem so this new firmware is really great thanks to nokia |

QUOTE(midnight_plue @ Jan 16 2010, 05:18 PM) let me tell u my sad story of this tube la... Regarding the unable to detect memory card i kena this few times already, what u need to do is go to messaging there, go to options and then go to others, then change the location from phone memory to card memory every time this happens..so far it doesnt happen to me that often and no issues so far. I've installed dozens of unsigned crap also no issues...seriously sien... i have been having problems with this phone since day 1 i bought it, last Monday to be exact... nothing can be done except wait for firmware update... den fine, came along firmware update, i update it, most problem solved BUT another one occur, which is the damn memory card. i did what XM and sklchan advise me to which is format MC + hard reset, which I did, and I never restore my previous data cuz nothing much needs to be restore anyway. What I did was only move back Garmin folder into MC + install it etc etc etc. Only Garmin. den problem happen lor. Whenever I restart my phone, if got new msg comes in, it says "unable to detect memory card. Msg will now be stored in Phone Memory". I was like WTF la. Tried a few times, still liddat. Went to NCC today and their technician tell me what u know. Either ur software got problem, or ur memory card got problem. Duh like i dunno. I told him bout the class 2/4/6 mem card problem, seems like they ARE NOT aware of this problem. so what to do. they suggested me to format phone + mem card which I agree to. After waiting for like 3 hours, i collect my phone, and ask them what's the problem. U know what they tell me? Data in mem card got virus, thus affect ur firmware. WTF. I only had Nimbuzz, Tweets60, Opera Mini 5 beta, Garmin and Winter Lite by Pizero installed! And only 1 MP3 in my mem card. So tell me la, where went wrong? Can Garmin be infected with virus? O_O Or the other apps being infected? T___T But still I am not giving up on this phone... yet! Added on January 16, 2010, 5:18 pm how come so light/ Mine a freaking 219MB! |
