is it normal "cannot send protected object" appear when i try to send .sis and .sisx form my phone to ther phone via bluetooth? add me also.. me as black team.. |

The device has a fixed list of file types that built-in apps refuse to foward/send ahead. It is called a "Closed Content List" (CCL). Put there presumably on the inistence of network operators. A workaround is to rename the file extension, but the receiving device probably must be able name it back in order to use the file. yes im using windows 7.. first i transfer all the folder that i need to my laptop and then i formatted my tube and the memory card(using phone).. after that i transfer back the folder to my memory card.. i try to transfer some .sis file to my friend using bluetooth form my phone

I had the same prob sending my .sis or .sisx too, to my friend's 5800. I transferred them using mass storage mode to my memory card. Win XP BTW.
