When you r phone is locked and your alarm riing, you can see two arrow bar pointing to the left and pointing to the right. One for snoozing and one for stopping. Just slide the bar according to the arrow direction like iphone lock

Hmnn That scrolling thingy in the contact, I tot already there long time ago? I was expecting something like those Home screen widget, where u can drag & add your home screen just like Omnia & also copy & paste by way of dragging & dropping something like Iphone  hmm.gif
*
I presume u didn't know what kinetic scrolling means.
Previously, our beloved 5800 doesn't equip with kinetic scrolling at all, its so hassle to scroll in contact list / media list to find files. But now, u juz need to flip ur finger, then it'll scroll all the way down/up. Cool~! thumbup.gif

Err. Come on. there're lots of phone out there which have lots of bug after sales, but their manufacturer always come out with new firmware to fix it up.

but so far, nokia have very bad customer service in terms of new firmware to fix bugs; they took quite a long time to release it. sweat.gif

Ya, Ya Its cool all right, just become danger when you're driving without handfree, double the danger trying to slide to answer phone... sweat.gif
That's da problem......need time to get use to....Nokia should add in an option to disable the function, our tube is non-capacitive so sliding some time not very accurate. rclxub.gif
*
Hey guys. I juz test it. U can juz simply press the green button to answer or red button to reject call, even the slide thingy is there. thumbup.gif

Really?? Damn Nokia. vmad.gif Our phone much expensive then 5530, logically we should get extra rather than simply extract all the features from 5530 and import to our 5800. mad.gif

Hello all,

I just noticed, my alarm is always not on time. For example, I set it at 7.15am but it will only ring at 7.19am. What can I do to solve this problem?

No wonder I always don't have enough time to pack.

Thanks in advance.  blush.gif
*
That's a common problem for V31 and below.

Upgrade urs to latest firmware, V40, that should fix it.

hi..

wanna upg to V40 thru FOTA but get connection error. already set default server to nokia but still the same. i'm on v31.0.101 using maxis

any idea whats the problem ?
*
R u sure u wanna download the file via FOTA on maxis? Mind u its 130MB size of file.

Anyway, I'm guessing the problem come from maxis connection coz so far, there're no user complains when they upgraded theirs via FOTA.

How bout using NSU? Its much safer. smile.gif

As long as I didn't provide the source, I guess that should be ok. tongue.gif

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Jan 19 2010, 10:48 AM)
Yes it's available via FOTA now. Just 17mb size. Very easy compare to download everything using NSU.
*
IC. Didn't know that via FOTA the size is really small to compared when updating via NSU.
But it doesn't bother me though, updating my firmware via NSU at office, the 130mb downloaded for less than 4 minutes. thumbup.gif

guys, skyfire has out for s60v5 but its still in beta stage,it support full flash player maybe it better than opera..
*
Lots of users complain that the browser hav bugs and it ain't kinetic scrolling at all. Most of them back to opera, while waiting for improved version of this browser. If u need to browse a website which using flash (for e.g. youtube), then this browser is good to go, at least for the time being.

anyhow, i couldn't make a comparison as I didn't use it yet. I'm holding back as I read lots of negative comments bout it. tongue.gif
