QUOTE(mar5690 @ Jan 17 2010, 01:07 AM) err...anyone who have ori phone..want 2 know how long warranty 4 screen? go survey at melaka town yesterday, all shop i went give 3 month warranty 4 screen 4 original phone..is dat normal? original phone should be 1 year warranty for whole phone including LCD, only accessories are given 6 months QUOTE Warranty Period
The warranty period starts at the time of Product’s original purchase by the first end-user. The Product may consist of several different parts and different parts may be covered by a different warranty period (hereinafter “Warranty Period”). The different Warranty Periods are:
1. twelve (12) months for the mobile device and accessories (whether included in the mobile device sales package or sold separately) other than the consumable parts and accessories listed in (b) and © below; 2. six (6) months for the following consumable parts and accessories: batteries, chargers, desk stands, headsets, cables and covers; and 3. ninety (90) days for the media on which any software is provided,e.g. CD-rom, memory card.
As far as your national laws permit, the Warranty Period will not be extended or renewed or otherwise affected due to subsequent resale, repair or replacement of the Product. However, repaired part(s) will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or for sixty (60) days from the date of repair, whichever is longer. http://www.nokia-asia.com/support/repair-a...imited-warrantyThis post has been edited by cyew86: Jan 17 2010, 01:09 AM

QUOTE(mar5690 @ Jan 17 2010, 01:31 AM) then why all the sellers say even for original phone, the warranty did not cover all phone (camera 6 months, screen 3 months etc.).. their zitron/avaxx phone not ori eh? maybe they are trying to sell you AP/Recon set but claiming those sets as original

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Jan 17 2010, 07:45 AM) Yea....no vibration. I think it's a bug in the contact bar homescreen. if you need other 5530 homescreen colour, get it from here: http://forum.dailymobile.se/index.php/topic,16447.0.htmlavailable in Blue, Pink, Yellow and Gray another bug found for the contact bar when on v21, whenever there is a msg, an asterisk will be shown on the contact that sent the sms but on v40, only one contact shows the asterisks, the rest, takda not that it is a big issue though

QUOTE(limauing @ Jan 19 2010, 03:31 PM) I just updated my 5800.. The updates on version 40, I'll have to say is really really cool.. Loved it.. However I hope they do something about the home screen's design.. It's a blunt 2D.. Very Plain.. I think see through would look better.. install 5530 light vision theme to get the transparency effect

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 21 2010, 11:36 AM) I recalled it having the '*' when I first installed, but then the '*' got stuck to the image even after I've read the sms/see the misscall. Then I restarted and then no more '*' for unattended notifications . well, small sacrifice for the KS and nice homescreen that we get my main issue is the light being turned on permanently during charging all, hope that those issues will be rectified in v41 QUOTE(77hunter @ Jan 21 2010, 11:51 AM) Need help. after i have updated my 5800 to version 40, i found that everytime i open ovi map it will open calender 1st and connect to gprs/wap service. is there anybody has face the same problem? nope, no such problem
