yup it happen to me,lock first then plug in the charger...is this bug?

not much of an issue, just unlock it, then lock it again to turn the screen off

I didnt know V40 is out now. I'm outdated.

Do I need to do soft / hard reset?
I read some say yes while some say no need.
Which is correct?

V40 seems more responsive & sensitive. so far so work fine.

depends lor. Just now i soft reset cuz i feel something lagging and hang... maybe my phone too messed up because i installed many HS and additional stuff before that. So i soft reset and then use killme to kill unwanted processes... then LAG FREE!

i rmb previous thread some1 sed it's hardware based...

i did not do any reset in my case, as the matter of fact, all the files remain intact after the update

i am not aware that 5800 has that kind of hardware support

if you want clean phone after new update, i suggest hard reset your phone 1st then hack. after that only you upgrade your firmware. because rite now v40 is unhackable.

alamak, the new Nokia Map is incompatible with old map file, and i have deleted it, then only realized that there is NO new map loaded with this new Nokia Map. how could i load the map file for this new Nokia Map?

anyone noticed the new 'incoming call' interface? its like 2 horizontal bars. the top 1 is green for accepting the call and the red below is to to cancel it.

out of a number of phone calls i only get once or twice. how to configure that setting?

i tried to on theme effects but no avail.

Its common already on N97. When i saw it on 5800XM it wasnt new except 5800 it works in alarm too and N97 u dont

iinm, that will appear when your phone is lock. if it is unlock then normal interface is appear
