Well, guys, I want to relive my childhood. Do they still produce the battery operated Zoids? All i see for the past few pages seem to be action figures.

Those are spot on!
Although my Gore and Salamander are corroded because we left the battery inside for too long. As for my Dark Horn it is missing one of the L shaped pieces for the front leg >.< as well as the holder for the vulcan (the one that swivels) is lost. |

I saw a Proto Gojulas Giga on ebay for around RM250, is that a good buy? I watch a few videos on youtube and it doesn't really move that well, I know it has 2 modes but in some of the videos it jerks around a lot. Wonder if that is because of QC problems or just mis-assembled ?

QUOTE(riderTEKRAN @ Jan 6 2015, 09:44 PM) Cute Gustav! i dunno, when i was 12 I had both an Iron Kong and Death Horn and their movements were "ok" to me. I guess time does colour your vision, mine is very much rose tinted I still have not got mine. *sad* For Gojulas Giga, it does jerk around a bit. But for myself, I've never expected smooth running motions on motorised Zoids. If Aibo can't do it, what more the simpler gear driven Zoids? Was so jealous when Selangor, KL Zoiders had their cheap sales in 2006, 2007. Now it's only worth it if one likes motorised mecha kits. I did buy a Death Saurer , now just have to cross my fingers and hope that when I insert 2x C batteries it will move properly! |
