Hey guys,

I'm a new guy to Zoids and the only Zoids series that I've ever watched is Zoids GENESIS.

I always collect Kamen Rider @ Masked Rider items and Gundam model kits and I want to buy at least one or two (or more) Zoids from this series but does all Zoids (from Zoids Genesis) have motorized battery operated or use batteries to operated it's movement?

Like this Sword Wolf?

Welcome to LYN ZOIDS, VMeGaMRedZV.
I hope you enjoyed the Zoids Genesis anime and I know you'll have a good *quiet* time here.

About the Genesis model kits - as with all ZOIDS line, some are battery operated, some spring-powered and some are just for minimal posing (e.g. Decalto Dragon's Parablade unit and the Biozoids).
The whole Genesis line probably has close to a hundred different kits. Any particular ZOIDS you needed more information on?

Thanks for welcoming me here,

Umm, as my previous post I want to know that the "Sword Wolf" kit have any battery operated or atleast sping-powered?

Hello there, welcome aboard!

Swolf Wolf is battery operated.
Oh really? Gee... thanks alot, I really need this info before I buy this Sword Wolf kit.

Have you guys ever having a hard time on assembling any kind of Zoids kit? Is it complicated to build it?

@VMeGaMRedZV:
There are *complicated* ZOIDS kits like Berserk Fuhrer and especially in the HMM Kotobukiya line.
Then there are the easy ones like Blox Nightwise.

I would say Genesis Sword Wolf is somewhat in the primary 4 school section of ZOIDS kit difficulty.
*
Oh I see, primary 4 school section level huh? hmm.gif

smile.gif Then I would probably don't have a problem (hopefully) on building it when I buy it.

Thanks again for your help, guys.

Congratulations, VMeGaMRedZV.
First Zoids kit ever, eh?

Yes. Zoids kits are different from Gundams. For one thing, not as complicated as MG or PG, I guess?
For another, it moves!
Well, the non-HMM and Blox ones do, anyway.

You think you'll be modding Swordwolf's knives to solid metal? Hehe.
*
laugh.gif That's a great idea but I'm not sure want to mod it with real solid metal as this is my first Zoids kit. nod.gif

@VMeGaMRedZV:
Be careful with the knife placement piece. Once locked together, will be difficult to take apart.
So where's your Sword Wolf review?
*
(^__^'')?

Ummm... I haven't build it yet, need to have the right mood on building it XD.

Will post it as soon as I finish building it =)

icon_rolleyes.gif Hey guys, I present to you my Sword Wolf.

This is my first Zoids kit that I've ever build. From Zoids GENESIS series; Sword Wolf (GZ-007). I finished building it within almost 2 hours, done it yesterday: April 24th, 2010. 10PM - 12PM. Also I didn't apply any stickers on it and I've included my MG Turn-∀Gundam for the size comparison of this kit with a Gundam kit.

Pros:

It's big, easy to build (to me), nice detailed manual and it's movable!!! rclxm9.gif

Cons:

It cannot be store inside the box back - have to unassemble it first. doh.gif

Flying Squirrel, wow that's new since it's rarely seen to be used in any mecha/series.
