Looks like the Revoltech Blade Liger's release date has been confirmed: July 15th, price 4,900 Yen (inclusive of tax).

Still not quite impressed with the proportion and design, but as expected with Revoltech figures, articulation is amazing. even more so with the Blade Liger since it's using so many Revoltech joints!

As great looking as this is, i'm still disappointed Koto doesn't give us the dual-gattling Dark Horn.

Just thinking about HMM Liger Zero in all its HMM CAS glorious details....

But where's HMM Gojulas?

Ed provided a cheaper Ebay listing a few posts back, i believe? For all it's amazing poseability, imho, it's really too highly priced for it's size.
for comparison sake, it's even more expensive than the coming HMM Lightning Saix!

Revoltech doesn't do diecast i believe...though i won't be getting this due to limited budget (have to start saving for all those Liger Zero variants! ), i still hope Revoltech Zoids line sells well, cos it increases the possibility of someone finally making a line of Zoid chogokin. still no news whether Yamato's Shield Liger is a kit or action figure.

yeah, i know it's too much to hope that Koto will change the mold just to provide the dual-gattling, but i'm still disappointed...

As for Liger Zero, Liger Zero Hiou will be nice, but how about Blue Souga? now that'll be simply AWESOME!

I believe it's an action figure. lack details for a model kit, even the toes are a single piece, not separate digits.

If i think the Blade Liger is a little pricey, this is bordering on the ridiculous.

I'd think no in the short term. unless the line (HMM/Revoltech/Yamato) is discontinued, then maybe 4-5 years later, the kits/figures will appreciate in value. probably the least likely to appreciate will be HMM kits. since even the supposedly limited kits have been reissued.

"Total length is about 440mm (260mm for just the body). Made up of about 200 parts in total, with 80 of them die-cast internal parts. Has about 60 spots of markings on the whole body.

Accesories: figure x6 (Van Flyheight x2, Fine Elisi Linette x2, Zeke x2), Zoids Core, fang x2 types, grade-up parts, Laser Saber, anti-Zoids twin 30mm beam for tail, simple stand for posing and extra marking sheet.

Shield Liger is made of ABS, zinc alloy, ATBC-PVC (acetyl tributyl citrate-polyvinyl chloride) and POM; figures are made of ATBC-PVC; the display stand is made of ABS and POM.

Price: 18690 yen, that's close to RM700. Ouch. I've been waiting for a chogokin Zoid line for a long time. but somehow, for me at least, this Shield Liger doesn't really seem that impressive in terms of design and details. and certainly not enough to justify the price tag. but will definitely keep an eye on future releases in this line to see if Yamato will improve.
