QUOTE(vmagnum @ Feb 25 2013, 11:15 AM) Hey there, vmagnum.Thanks for joining the party. Yeah, it's a good thing that Zoids still have some love amongst some Malaysians. I have so many good memories about Zoids that I don't think I'd ever let this poison go. Unfortunately I'm not so much a fan of the HMMs and overall poseable-only Zoids but I'm glad there are fans who can keep the brand alive. @Edmaestro, ahtiven: Wah. Went dating huh? Was it a mini-Zoids gathering? Any Zoids were played/tested? @coleTurner: Please do share more of your HMM work. I don't know where all the other modelers went to. Do let us know what you think of the HMM Dibison. Doesn't look very poseable but hopefully you can find more action-packed scenarios for it. Keep up with the Zoids love, everyone. |

HMM isnt the essence of original Zoids. I very like those battery operated and wind up ones, the old skool stuff. HMM is like dressing Ultraman in Iron Man Suit.... overkill. Well this is just my opinion. This post has been edited by EDMAESTRO: Feb 25 2013, 11:41 PM |

QUOTE HMM isnt the essence of original Zoids. I very like those battery operated and wind up ones, the old skool stuff. HMM is like dressing Ultraman in Iron Man Suit.... overkill. Well this is just my opinion. I am actually in opinion with that. The HMM however gives a chance to both the creators and newcomers to get into zoids. creators needed something new to follow the timeline in order to survive, HMM will not be offered if there is no demand. newcomers do find zoids very attractive because it moves. I played the zoids outside the hobby shop which is next to a large tuisyen centre, kids loved it (and i thought i was dooing the young women teachers a favor... but the kids all sneaked out.) I think the HMM is cheaper to produced than the classic ones. The classic zoids doesn't just represent our great childhood but also to show what once Japan could do if their economy is in greatness. Now let me go wind up all my 1/24~ |

I like the hmm cause it has more detail... posing for my diorama makes it look good especially the artculation.. but one thing I dont like about hmm is the joints are loose everywhere.. that irritates me and to put onebtogether.. its tough.. I get migraine sometimes cause its very confusing.. the manual I mean...

One thing I'm surprised about is how no one visiting LYN Zoids has shared their Yamato Liger yet. Maybe someone did but I missed it?
I would love to read more reviews about this little beast. Has anyone had a chance to play with this toy yet? Just for fun, here are a couple pics of the two siblings and counterparts. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I was hoping to get the DCS-J version at Pre-order prices but seems like none of my favourite toy shops was did it. Oh well. Something to strive for before next Chinese New Year then. This post has been edited by riderTEKRAN: Mar 1 2013, 08:47 PM |

Don't worry.
I am sure there will be more of the D-styles being released. Zoids has 30 years of history to get more designs from. Very impressive, Sir Edmaestro. You even have the chrome Koto D-styles, I see. Is the chroming on your kit better than those reviews I read on ZP? More importantly, have you built all of those D-styles? |

@nothings:
Blue on a standard Liger Zero? Sacrilegious! Or could it be the Jager version? If those little bits were painted with an airbrush...well, you're one patient person. Looking forward to seeing the end product. Anyone pre-ordered the HMM Psychosaurer? The missile pods look so freaking cool and I want those Ambient, Specula organoids. ![]() Any place selling for cheap? I'm too stingy to spend RM400+ on kits at the moment. I think the BT will release the Genosaur in future, bcos Koto Geno & geno breaker very costly. If they do release the genosaur, the have the chance for the Psychosaur.
