The 2010 ACON aka Orange ACON just got underway with host nation Angola tied by Mali. What a thrilling come from behind (4-0 down) by Mali (note Keita) which stunned the local crowd which were prior entertained by 'the most money spent on an Africa Cup of Nations opening ceremony in history.'
Anyways my bet here is Côte d'Ivoire team to win with Drogba top goal scorer.

Latest on Togo Togo initially decided to withdraw from the tournament following a terrorist attack on their team bus, but reversed the decision out of respect for the men who lost their lives. Togo's prime minister, Gilbert Fossoun Houngbo, ordered the team to return home on 10 January 2010. The prime minister was quoted as saying "it would be irresponsible on the part of the authorities to let Togo team to continue". This post has been edited by A 11: Jan 11 2010, 06:00 AM

Reserved-ACON Hot Spot 1. Togo got ambushed, eliminated on the way to ACON with tragedy 2. Q-Finals - Inept Refereeing A. Ivory Coast denied Kolo Toure equalizer (non-offside) ruled offside! B. Egypt gifted a goal that isn't (goal line surveilance?). Sudanly we have a khartoum on our hand again. Algeria vs Egypt. Will Egypt avenge for their WC berth loss? Quite a number of you think Egypt will win the cup! 3. Whats this about Ivory Coast & Cameroon. Especially Geremi gifting a goal too? Anymore surprise? Of course there will be. ACN is a bit strange. Mali had a better goal difference than Algeria but they still went out because of Algeria won the game between the two
