can some one out there tell me what i'm facing right now. i have bought sammy40 LCD june last year & didn't have any problem at all. but recently when i'm playing with my XBOX suddenly it changed the channel & volume automatically, liked there is someone who is switching it. i try to change the battery of my remote & used it but no change at all. PLZ someone out there, tell what is the problem that i facing right now

Sounds like your neighbor has just bought the same TV.

reminds me of the movie paranormal activity, lol. but even neighbor with same tv, the remote signal cannot penetrate the wall. i think its time to get the tv serviced.

its kinda funny..but my sammy plasma last weekend had shown the same symptom as the TS...

im quite puzzle for the actual cause that lead the channel and sound changed intermittenly..

as for my best guess..tot that my AV receiver had influenced the paranormal activity and had it OFF..but strangely the thing still happend...

my tv inconsistently changing the channel,moving up/down the volume or automatically turn OFF by itself..after a while..the symptom wore off and since then..it yet to happen again.. (hope it wont happen again)

i dunno either the sammy all in one HDMI remote feature EZ Net had to do with this paranormal kinda thingy...

I also kena once...Toshiba CRT TV..my wife was watching her fav show...I was going to the toilet and saw the channel change itself....my wife thought I was the one who was playing the fool with her....I swear it was not me....until today she dun believe me..haha

i wanna say it could be one of those HDMI features where it will automatically switch the channel when u turn on ur blu ray player but i dun think its suppose to change the volume at the same time also.....


maybe its a special feature of sammy tvs??? automatically gives u da best channel to watch with the recommended volume setting???

SO IT SEEMS THERE WERE ALSO PEOPLE LIKES ME FACING THIS PROB OUT THERE. WHAT IS REALLY BUGGING ME IS ACTUALLY THE PROB ITSELF. IS THERE ANY OTHER SOLUTION THAN SENDING IT FOR SERVICE COZ IT IS QUITE DIIFICULT FOR ME TO SEND IT FOR SERVICE DUE TO THE LOCATION OF SERVICE CENTRE
