hello guyz....M a Bangladeshi....& m gonna visit Malaysia in a few dayz just to pass my vacataion...I went to Malaysia before n itz amazing..
now in this vacation m planing to buy a Xbox 360 Elite modded....
from where I can Buy it??I will stay in KL so please lete me know the markets of KL & what's the price of it now??
another thing is I have a PS2 & in BD NTSC|U\C region games are available...so will a 360 differ the region if I buy from there???let me know every thing that I should keep in mind before buying console.......

in malaysia u can only get NTSC/J xbox360, so if you have no way at getting NTSC/J games i could say its best u buy from yr country not from here.

xbox elite is around 1.2k-1.3k

okk if I mod it in my country...will it work???thanx IccyAsd but need to know more.......& my budget iz about 2k...

he asked for an Elite, which is quite hard to get at 1.2k

anyways u might wan to get another controller

total should be around 1.5k or 1.6k , MAX



anyways, dun talk about mod-mod consoles here

Yes, some games are region free though I'd strongly suggest getting a console where you have access to games with the same region as the console.

Consoles sold here are generally Asian consoles (NTSC/J) that I know of. You can try looking around at the garage thread, someone might be selling a NTSC UC console.

okkkk thanx...actually now I want to play the master pieces like AC2 & some others but m also a citizen of Malaysia & planing to shift there by the end of this year....so if I buy a console from there now...may be it wont be that big issue coz I can play those Master titles iznt it??.....

m=i'm hehe.....I have passed immigration procedure & got my seal from MY Govt. so I can go there anytime I want....& yes itz 2010..& Xbox 360 gmaes are available here too..Xbox 360 iz available here too but the price iz higher than the international Market...thatz Y I wanna Buy a console from there & till I shift there I'll play Region Free games like Assassins CreeD 2 etc etc......

In Malaysia it's full of modded consoles and not officially launched here.

singapore is cheaper than in Malaysia and AFAIK, India is officially supported. If your console belongs to the same region as NTSC-J, I would suggest you to bring it from here.

and as Jcsy said, do not talk about anything can relate to piracy including softmods or you'll get your price soon.
