Since this is my first topic for this forum i guess i'll start off with this section.

Anyways for those who like rhythm games like O2jam, XDO/SDO, DJmax and so on. i would like to present to you another rhythm game called Osu!.

some info from the website which is osu.ppy.sh or osu-me.com

CODE
osu! is a rhythm game based on the gameplay of a variety of popular commercial rhythm games. While aiming to keep authentic gameplay and scoring, osu! increases the epic factor through online rankings, multiplayer, replay exchange, and a huge community following. Also available is a fully functional built-in editor, allowing intuitive creation of your own beatmaps for the songs you want to play.

Whether you end up being a hardcore player or a well-respected beatmap creator (or some place in-between :), there is something for everybody within the osu! community.

anyhow i've been playing this game for almost a year. and this is quite special since there are too little too much songs that is available to play. if you are good enough you can even make your own songs or Beatmap in Osu!. the playing system is very simple. all you need is a mouse and keyboard. for me i use the mouse for moving the cursor and the keyboard for hitting the circles.

when i look at the rankings in malaysia i am surprised that quite some people played this but quitted bit too early. probably because of the way you play Osu!. you can check out the player rankings in malaysia by clicking the link osu.ppy.sh/p/playerranking?s=3&m=0&o=1&c=MY&f=

and finally heres some or should i say a lot of videos of me playing Osu!. you can basically know how osu will work and yes now i play insane songs only.(note that im a touhou fanatic so idk)

Haven't touch the game for, like, 1 years? Just realize that Osu has gone some massive improvement (in-game chat/IRC, stat keeping, improved multiplayer etc etc.) laugh.gif

If you like this, you should give AudioSurf a try.

It was USD2.50 on Steam during the Holiday Sales.

Also, I have spent like 2-3 hours in total on it, unknowingly.

Audiosurf isn't really a rhythm game. Sure, its music based, but not really rhythmic. The only thing these two games have is that its centred around music. Its like saying you'll like Company of Heroes if you like Call of Duty because they're both set in WW2.

You need to use one of the "gameplay mods" to enable that... You have to go look in their website for it.
