really? I just got mine (32GB white) directly at klcc maxis centre around 3pm today. What time did you go there? I checked yesterday, there is no ready stock for both 16GB and 32GB at the maxis centre, gardens midvalley.

btw, you may pay by credit card installment plan as well if you buy iPhone directly (outright purchase/without contract).

So sad,went to mid valley and gardens' maxis centre 2 look 4 32gb iphone but not available.Disappointed.Tmr might gv a try at klcc.Dono whether still available not.Anybody who knows pls share...tq

Hi all, anybody knows the exact dock date for the 16gb 3GS? I've been waiting for 2 months++ still no news :\

I think u better walk in and ask them.. 2 month is a quiet long time of period ad.. u can ask for refund if u feeling don't wan to continue wait..

Maxis Pavillion has got plenty of stock for 32Gb Black Only. Can sign up for hotlink plan too, i was there yesterday night. Suppose to sign up for 32Gb, then suddenly heard the salesperson mention Maxis Sunway has got few sets of 16Gb. So quickly rush down to Sunway, I'm lucky enough to be the last 16Gb White owner lastnight.

I think it's better to keep calling and follow up with them, waiting for them to call just doesn't work for me I guess. You only end up waiting for even longer period, sometimes they might have stock in store

FYI: Maxis Sunway has run out of stock for 8Gb, 16Gb & 32Gb lastnight. So it's better to call them and ask for stock availability before going there.

hahah diff ppl, diff preference. haha but iphone is prone not only to fingerprint smudges(especially black), but also scratches especially at the chrome area. so best to get the 'protection' ready when u get the iphone.

so whatever color the iphone come with doesn't really matters. alot of iphone lovers did very well in skinning their phones. looks very unique. some prefer leather pouches and others prefer silicon casing. but at the end of the day, it is getting the phone protected that matters.

Maxis and Apple is making s**tload of money lah hehe. I got 32GB white from Maxis Sunway last friday. Short period of time (within 3 hrs) got around 6 ppl signing up including me and before I left there at around 10pm still got 1 to 2 ppl behind me.

For the question regarding copying contacts 1 by 1, if you're using windows and able to copy the contacts into .vcf file like Nokia, you can actually import the contacts into MS Address Book and sync it with iTunes

16gb still global shortage then 32gb.. maybe they got new stock but just don't wan to give out need to finish up the 32gb..

I would like to make an observation here.

When Apple came out with the 32gb, they expected high demand. In the States, it was not to bad but globally especially in countries where the officially appointed telcos take the opportunity to squeeze every 'drop of blood, sweat and tear' from the consumers, majority of them rather opt for the cheaper 16gb. Hence now, for obvious reasons they are trying to push the 32gb.

For all we know, telcos may be given extra incentives to dispose off the 32gb. Thus, the prevailing action of Maxis presently. That is what I believe is the current scenario.

agree with it.. haha.. probably maxis will get more incentives to dispose off those 32gb.. that y currently even u hear radio also got hear maxis doing promotion on 32gb

i got my 32GB black from Seremban. There are plenty of stocks there. No one is buying . got

What? U didn't book and u can get the 16gb? I booked it there on 2nd jan. And they told me 2 to 4 weeks waiting time but yet u can get it without booking? Thats not fair

i went there on sunday. no luck.. seems like i might opt for the 32gb iphone. I will give it till 45 days.

My wife decided all of a sudden to get a iPhone 3Gs Tuesday evening (12th January) at 8pm. So we headed over to Maxis Centre at Sunway Pyramid. Reached there at 9pm, and got a 32Gb iPhone 3Gs by 9:30pm! No prior booking. Just walked in and got one.

For those who're bragging that they could get their 3GS w/o booking .. yes, you could do that for the 32GB version. I did that last month .. after tired of waiting for the 16GB one. The unlucky ones are those who are looking for the 16GB version.

i plan to wait for 45 days, all else fails i might opt for 32gb.

hmm..my collegue is planning to get 3gs 16gb. She was told that 32gb have to wait but 16gb can got stock.

Where? Probably can share which maxis centre that is willing to let go the 16GB w/o booking My wife is thinking of getting one too now ..

Seriously initially I totally gave up on iPhone, due to the loooooong waiting list. It just happened that I'm paying my bill at Maxis Pavillion, so why not just ask ... If i wasn't sensitive enough to hear the conversation between the salesperson, I wouldn't be able to get the 16GB version. Damn I still remember how I rush down from Pavillion all the way to Sunway... Crazy!!! but worth it tho.

Not bragging. Just sharing the info in case someone needs to get one quick. Isn't that the point of this thread... to share the LATEST info? That's how I found the 32Gb at such short notice... by checking THIS thread and finding out that the 32Gb was available at Sunway. Hopefully somebody found the info useful.

depends on what plan u sign with them...
only ivalue plan are eligible for 0% installment with selected bank...
u can ask CIMB to give you 10month installment with interest =)
