Nope. Only limited to one.

Oh well, I don't suppose if I were to go out and get those cheap hotlink starter packs and activate it my name would be counted as an existing maxis customer then? haha.

What they probably mean is that they can't confirm if they will have it on this week.

I'm holding several very sensitive documents passed to me by my Maxis insider, browsing through it now.

What's interesting is there is a section for Outright Purchase-Non Contracted which states the pricing for the iPhones without contract.

iPhone 3GS 8GB RM1890, iPhone 4 16GB RM2290, iPhone 4 32GB RM2690.

However, NonContract Purchase are only allowed if they have purchased the first set of the three iPhones mentioned above on a contracted offer, meaning you can only get to buy a Buy-Outright iPhone 4 AFTER you have signed up an iPhone (3GS/4) under the new iValue Plans.

It's not about halau customer, but to make sure they have enough for everyone. That said, I'm really hoping you don't need to buy an iphone with ivalue plan to buy one outright. That's borderline ridiculous and I'm taking a sack of salt with that one.

It's their temporary measure to make sure their core customer base, the postpaid folks get their iPhones before opening it up to general public/prepaid. This enforcement will not be long until they manage a steady stream of units into stockage.

Yeah, to be frank it does sound about right. I'm still gonna try my luck though. We'll see how it goes smile.gif It's good that you shared though, much appreciated.

why it seems like everyone got email from maxis? I registered the interest early and still haven't received anything sad.gif

You know, I think I know why. Here's a clear message why, fresh from the first page! Ever tried looking there for FAQs?

guys the email is not required to book your iphone, u just need to make sure u have a maxis number under your name, even prepaid is ok

so, are you saying that if I were to go out and buy a hotlink starter pack I'd get in? I've already registered my interest but it was with a non-maxis number when I registered my interest.

At the rate the slots are filling, would you say that all 3600 slots would be filled with maxis customers that have registered their interest?

How was maxis' previous launch events? Was it poorly organized or did it run smoothly? Sure that those who book twice can get two phones and from different payee?

@tinkerbel: waitt... so i need the principal line holder to be there when i make the purchase?

there was an option when we signed up saying the supp line will become a principal line after then purchase.. so why would we need the principal to sign the contract again?

its for authorization purposes I think.
