why would u need it anyway? i personally its a little bit overkill.. unless ur 100% sure and confident in intepreting the result. even cough can make ur oxygen saturation <85%. will u take action of that?
what do you mean regarding to the bolded part? the result will be clearly stated in the monitor (for typical oximeter).and i sure TS dont even bother measuring his pO2 during cough or not. its more for COPD patient, like TS mentioned.
