Well, i use BenQ S42, for me its quite expected for a laptop with such spec to be a bit hotter than usual smile.gif...but still, its manageable hot, not like damn hot laugh.gif...

ya
but compare to lenovo g450 , the temp wont be hot , even u gaming
acer 4736g also
but i scared the s42 will be hot as my lappy
*
Please check both GPU for G450 and 4736G....S42 use 9600M GT, with such card in a 14" laptop, heat is most probably a problem but still manageable nod.gif...

Mine here running at 60C idle and load at 90C icon_idea.gif...

Its not the proc i'm talking about bro..its the Graphic Card which is 9600M GT GDDR3 sweat.gif...proc never exceed 60C bro, even when intense gaming on-going icon_idea.gif...and your friend BenQ what model?? Some model are just called defective as the hardware problem that is known off smile.gif

My BenQ been going strong for more than a year now, never send to SC nod.gif...

Added on February 2, 2010, 10:41 amand also, we take good care of the laptop also...even if the laptop doesn't heat much but if the environment is not good, also can heat-up the temperature nod.gif

R45, comes with 8400M GS...no wonder sweat.gif...well, got to say that R45 is one of BenQ laptop with quite poor cooling system, i tested one before and its really is hot sad.gif...but rest assure as BenQ S42 is far more cooler than R45, and it won't produce heat much...what do you expect from a 14" with quite a heat-burner GC laugh.gif...

i heard that if play hardcore games on a laptop it will get heat up very fast. Izzit true?
*
Well, this is simple....you are now playing game (exp : Crysis), before game starts the temp for both CPU/GPU is 42C/58C....and on with the game, temp while running the game for sure will go up like CPU/GPU is 64C/75C...

Yes, the more demanding the game, the more stress it put onto the CPU/GPU which will cause it to heat-up pretty easily smile.gif

Why Alienware M11x at RM3.5 no good as a gaming lappy? hmm.gif
*
Well, not that its not good for gaming but rather small for a gaming laptop...as we can see, M11x spec is definitely a killer when come to games but ths screen just kinda small of gamers to be satisfied by it...well, for most usually a bigger screen would be much, much better smile.gif...

Well, if you dun really care about the size, then its really is a good gaming laptop icon_idea.gif
