hi there

may i knw,

what thing i'll needed and how can i wrap the seagate hdd for rma?
do i need to pack it together with printed rma slip paper?
im first time doing this.

any helps will be greatly appereciated

can u explain a bit more details?
like put in what box, can i just put it in box with antistatic bag and just send like that>?

If you are going to send to them in USJ summit, no need to pack...just pass to them with your RMA form, they will chop and sign to show they received the item. Thats how mine was RMA-ed

thanks for info. but i dont think i'l coming to KL just for RMA the item. i'll do thru postage.
how exactly?

and one more question, the RMA form is exaclty like what appeared in RMA seageate website, and we print it out right?

Don't forget padding. I used a CDRW drive's box. With shredded paper for padding.

i just rma last month, sent to summit USJ
i "wrap" in an anti-static bag, put inside just a slightly bigger box, stuffed it with newspaper

the drive success RMA and return to me last 2 week, 2 weeks after i sent

when u complete that RMA online -- filling details etc, they should give you the address where to post, no?

I ask if there is any other method other than post b to samsung??
like if there is a samsung service centre? I can go there and hand my hdd to them to help me RMA instead of postage to them ?
just like acer... if u wan claim warranty,u can go to timesquare there... got 1 service centre... ><

its simple lol
just wrap it out very very carefully, like you're posting babies to them. so that u know how must secure it is, find some span or something that can handle the hdd and put the box, print the address and post it with tracking. should be there and they'll update you on email -- in my case with seageate
