Both phones are really good.. I dont know what do you mean by small storage for Nexus One..It can support up to 32GB SDXC which is more than your average mobile HD videos needs..So does the Droid if you actually meant the Droid.. Nexus One does not lack multitouch..It only lacks "for now"..Soon it will have multitouch in its next update..The hardware does have multitouch capabilities, just not the OS yet..If you get a Droid, you will be likely facing lesser problems related to after sales services, warranty claims, purchasing and delivery etc considering it has to be ordered directly from Google and is not available in Malaysia yet (unless you get it in the illegal way that is).. Under the shell, both phones are excellent..If you are a high end user and you think you can repair the phone yourself in case of any problems and you wont held anyone else responsible in case anything happens, then you can go for Nexus One..If you want an easier solution, get a Droid..simple

... and cyanogen's already added multi-touch zooming to the browser on the nexus, among other things. http://twitter.com/cyanogen/status/7482310035

Both phones seem to fall under the same price range. I was interested in the Droid/Milestone for it's real keyboard. Then the sudden hype of Nexus One came in. Now I'm in a dilemma myself.
For those of you who have chosen the Nexus One instead of the Droid... what is your opinion on why the phone is better?

I wouldn't say "better" bro..Everyone has their own opinions.. I'll make lives easier for you guys..if you want both keyboards (hardware and software), go with the droid..if you dont want a hardware keyboard, then go with nexus one..seriously..haha

after reading both droid/milestone and nexus one thread... i realize there's a lot of nexus one supporter. and i believe on the street, people will carry more motorola milestone/droid over google nexus one because u can just buy the motorola phone from the shop (got ppl said 18 jan coming msia) while google phone must buy online (sure those ah beng lalas dunno abt it) but then again, people are selling it at shop also liao (no more the exclusive). i see performance and features both phones almost same (except the snapdragon and ram) but then i see performance macam same saja.. no nit go so much til 1gb proc and waste batt power. but then i kinda liked the OLED so... yes.. i am still in dilemma.. maybe i shud go for motorola coz it's squary box looks more professional.. hmm

Brother..... The Droid cannot be used in Malaysia la... its only for the US However.... the real name should be called The Milestone.....
I'm having the same dilema as you, i dont know which to get as both phone are great and they fall under the same price range. If you want to be the "odd" one in the street, nexus one and the milestone would not be the option for you as both of them are so popular right now [Try getting a Palm if you want to be different]. Conversely, the milestone is currently in my favor.
However the lack of processor speed for the milestone compared to nexus one bothered me a little. Milestone obviously won in terms of design and the capability of a physical keyboard, however the nexus one is a step further in terms of weight and processor speed.
By the way, isn't both phones currently unavailable in Malaysia? Both of these phones are not officialy sold in Malaysia if im not mistaken.
Motorola Shadow is made up by fans. =.=
I hope someone would make a review on the milestone running on android 2.1 and make a speed comparison between the nexus one cause the current review showed no sign of disadvantages on the milestone in terms of speed [scrolling web pages/opening apps].
