Hi everyone! I'm flying to Queensland this week and have a few question to ask. hope someone can help. smile.gif

1. I'll be flying from Malaysia to Singapore, then transit at Singapore to Brisbane. I will only have 1:30 hours at Changi airport. enough time for the transit? hmm.gif

2. also if I'm not mistaken, I can only bring in cash AUD10k. Above that and I'll need to declare right? So lets say I bring in more than AUD10k cash. Do i also need to declare in Singapore?

3. Which is the best phone service provider? I hear Three sucks in Queensland. Optus maybe? smile.gif

TQ. notworthy.gif

haha. just want to know. what if I bring in more than AUD10k? Singapore custom will ask questions or just let me through cuz I'm just transiting at Singapore?

also, will 1:30 hours be a rush or I could just do things at normal pace? XD

you should never have that much cash with you.......

you are on transit, so you are officially/legally NOT in spore, and will not ever face spore customs.........

barring flight delays, you have time to have a drink, check your email, surf internet a bit, then be at the holding gate 45 min before......they board 30 min before..........note the departure terminal, if different from arrival, take the internal (transit) aerotrain to the appropriate terminal..........

Added on February 14, 2011, 3:39 pmAnother question. Someone once told me the airports do random checks on your computer to see if you are using genuine Windows OS. is that true? what about external hard disk? do they check if you have been downloading pirated movies, musics, etc.?

Aussie border security has the right to search your laptop and any other external memory drives and also ask you for passwords for encryppted drives to look for illegal pornography.

If you notice there's a question asking you if you have them on your incomming passengers card.
