Hi there, May I know is there anyone that has applied student dependent visa(Australia) through the online application, not by the agent like IDP? This is because I got an email reply from the Australian High Commission in KL saying that student dependent will need to provide: Evidence of funds in the form of original documents as follows: - bank statements for the past 6 months; and - letter from financial institution confirming account status for the past 6 months However, on the www.immi.gov.au, it stated very clearly that Malaysian student who is in assessment level 1 only need to declare the funds. Is the Australian immigration has implemented new rules on student and student dependent visa? Please advice, guys... Thank you.

QUOTE(tsm @ May 19 2010, 04:08 PM) Try to verify again from Australian high commission. Are you sure you click the column for the country correctly? Yeap, I am pretty sure that I have click the column for the country correctly. I actually got a checklist from the Australian High Commission saying need to provide evidence of adequate funds. But they said the reverse in their www.immi.gov.au website.

QUOTE(utopian86 @ May 25 2010, 11:14 PM) Done my medical check up in menara am bank Very cheap, Rm120 including extra =D i took 2-3 horus that day cause i went late. but overall very fast. The extra that you mean is X-ray? According to http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/overseas/m...l-doctors.htm#d, they are just medical clinic, not Radiology Clinic.

QUOTE(utopian86 @ May 26 2010, 12:17 AM) i apply tru agent. They send the visa already so the clinic just need to submit the medical results. Plus the agent is free. The school pays them, not us =) If that's the case, you're really lucky man. My agent wants to collect a small fees from me before proceed to apply the visa for me. That's what I dont understand too. The agent say they are owned by the University but they will need us to pay a small service fees before proceed with visa application. Otherwise, I will need to apply myself.

QUOTE(hihihehe @ May 26 2010, 01:30 AM) lol..agent of coz need money..which is ur agent? even me apply through IDP also need service fee(well,duh)...just my application fee waived... Well my agent is IDP as well. Application fee to the university is free. But when come to visa application, they need to charge us service fee also. As far as understand, student visa and student dependent visa application is quite straight forward. Added on May 26, 2010, 10:35 pmIs anyone of you ever get your document translated from Bahasa Malaysia to English? If yes, mind to share with me where did you do it? Thanks ya...
