Far more friendly than most random people you meet around in KL. At least for me during my 6 months here, I've never encountered any racist attitudes. In fact, I dare claim that there are more racism back in Malaysia, especially the subtle ones.

EDIT: I meant for Melbourne. I am told this might not be the case in other states in Australia
