Hi , Long time no chat ! How are you guys ?
Anyone in Perth have Korean / Japanese friends who would like to do a language exchange ? I'm interested in learning Korean AND Japanese in exchange of teaching them English . I have looked around the internet but I don't think it's safe going to a stranger's place , Yes they have classes but it's only a month course for a price of $150 ++ . I don't think it's worth it .
So , I would rather do a language exchange program . Any feedbacks are highly appreciated ! Thank you for your help =)

Hey guys , Just out of curiosity. I've been staying in Australia for 1 and a half years now ... Just wondering :
Can the airport customs check your External HDD ?
I have nothing much except for Japanese dramas / movies . Mostly Asian dramas / movies . I have read on some pages that downloading movie is not illegal . But I don't think that's the case and no I'm not bringing them to Aussie to sell it . I just wanna watch them and keep them to myself.
Really need someone to help me on this . I brought a HDD from Malaysia to Perth ... No one checked it but I have no fear as it's empty . But the next round , It's gonna be filled with movies . What do you think ?

QUOTE(caspersky @ Apr 27 2010, 10:22 PM) I would say they can't be bothered checking it. They would rather focus more on preventing visitors to bring in prohibited foods. External hard disks are small, if you hide it somewhere in your luggage they most probably won't notice. Moreover, how are they going to know whether you downloaded from the net or you simply burned them yourself with your own DVDs? Don't worry about it. I was pretty sure until my friend doubted me . So yeah , Thanks for that ! Talked to some other friends as well . They said the same thing . I'm pretty interested in studying in the U.K once I get my diploma here in Australia . But does anyone know whether do they accept Diplomas from other countries ? I would also wanna know if they would give us credits to go straight into year 2 or above . Any ideas ? It's still just a though now .

Hey guys , It's been awhile since I last posted .
I'm currently looking for houses to rent down south in Perth .
Areas that I'm looking at are Vic Park , East Vic , Como . Vic Park mostly ... I'm going to attend CIC next year so these areas should be good .
One question is , I've heard a lot of break-in news happening in Bentley , St James . As I've seen ... Vic Park is quite close to them so I just wanna ask how is the situation down there ? I'm pretty sure some of the LYNERS are staying / have stayed in those areas before .
Please enlighten me ? Thanks

QUOTE(LightningFist @ Sep 10 2011, 09:35 PM) Thanks. Which prepaid plan/which company's service would you recommend? I'm currently on Optus $30 prepaid but it seems to run out pretty quickly. Try Vodafone Infinite Plan for $45 ... infinite call (only in Australia ) infinite sms (Within and OUTSIDE Australia ) 500MB of Internet data Unlimited access to social networking sites. pretty good deal.
