got a question for accomodation
i'm going to perth in early february, do you think it is suitable to look for houses now?
i managed to dig up plenty of accommodations from the net,and i asked my relative over there to call up the owners, and most of them are not willing to reserve it for me,as they require me to move in immediately. I'm willing to pay for the few weeks rent prior my arrival.
I was thinking contacting them one week before i fly over. But i fear it would take a while for them to response. Another problem is my relatives won't be there around that time, so that makes contacting the owners over there impossible.

got a question abt working part time in aus
i browse through the thread and most of the part time jobs suitable for students mentioned here are working as waiters in restaurants or cashiers in supermarkets.
I wonder what is the availability of part time bookkeeping or accounting clerk jobs over in aus? like working for those sole traders or small companies that found it unfeasible to hire a full time accountant. What is the pay like?
i have some accounting certs and a diploma under my belt. At the same time,i have 2-3 years working experience from malaysia.

i remember the law states you can work 40 hours p.w during holidays. not sure if it applies to all holidays or only the big sem break.
