haha you got that right, i had to pay 515 dollars per week for a fully furnished house with 2 bedrooms, 1 waching machine room and a parking lot...

im kinda lucky since i have another friend staying together...therefore i only had to pay half of the price...im surprised that the university didnt provide enough space to accommodate international students...and yet their international student quota have reach more than 5,000 students if im not mistaken..

I think with that result you can go to almost any foundation program there. Why you want to go there straight?Go do SAM or something in Taylor's or Ausmat in Sunway or something first before heading to Australia =)

guess u staying at perth by looking at ur siggy..with $515pw at perth,i believe that apartment must b part of luxury?
if i can afford $515pw for 2br at melbourne, i can easily get apartment without searching n also near to uni or inside CBD...

What kind of art are you interested in?A lot of Art Degrees can be entered by taking no matter what subject in Pre-U.So my advice is do a pre-u here and choose subjects that you are very confident you can score so you can get into uni as art degrees don't usually have pre-requisites. Or if you have the money nobody can stop you =) choose a very good uni and take their foundation to be sure you can enter their degree. If you want to go straight to Australia I would recommend you to go and discuss your options with IDP.They give the best advice on going to Aussie to further your studies ^^

nope, not luxury... its just a normal apartment...

the problem is that these people are bloodsuckers...especially when it comes to international students...

PLUS

the area is located just beside the Swan river...its beautiful for outdoor activities, my house is nearby the matilda Bay...

i've asked the seniors and the permanent residents before...and price range is about 300-500 AUD per week....

Actually if you want to try Psychology at pre-u level Taylor's SAM does have it in their subject combination.

There are two combos that has Psychology in SAM
ESL,Mathematical Studies,Accounting studies,Economics and Psychology
The other combo is ESL,Accounting Studies,Economics,Legal Studies and Psychology

and the Cambridge A-Levels at the Hartamas Campus also offer Psychology in two of their combos in the march intake
Mathematics,Economics,Accounting and Psychology
Mathematics,Economics,Law and Psychology

Anyone here in Melbourne interested in getting an iPhone? I'm looking to sell my iPhone for AU$350. At the moment, its locked, but I will get it unlocked for you. I will also throw in a screen protector, cleaning cloth and a casing as well. Comes with the whole package. One minor scratch at the back of the iPhone bottom left area, but other than that, the iPhone is in good condition.

EDIT: Model is an iPhone 3G 16GB

Reporting in from canberra...just moved into my new house after being house-less for 1 week..it's really a disaster here in Canberra..
By the way, which is the best telco for international calls? i'm using 3 prepaid now..the sound quality isn't that good, the rate is expensive ($2+ per min) and there's a $100 limit for international calls..
